The Swim Suit Store

[Alavda Noir]

"I agree with Belle. You don't seem like the type to wear that...and why would Bree wear that? I can't see her wearing that!" She turned her attention back to Cora, "So you don't know what a thong is? Well, I can tell you that it's the most skimpy thing that you can wear on your hips," she offered, not really wanting to say it.

[Annabelle Ventus]

"I never said she has wore one, but she is over there so she would know what they look like, and the best on. Now if you excuse me I'm gonna go pay for my suit." Annabelle says and walks over to the register...well the line anyways.

[Bree Aldertree]

Bree watched the exchange between Annabelle and Alavda with great amusement. Of course she was greatly amused as soon as she heard the words thong bikini. She picked one up from the rack and held it up to herself.

"O la la, maybe I should exchange my suit for one of these!" She said and bursted out laughing. She held her side with her hand and quickly put the suit back on the rack. When she was able to speak again, she stood straight and looked at Cora.

"Hm, what size are you? I'll get it for you." She said, a wry smile on her face.

[Cora Remis]

When Cora saw what the thong bikini actually was, she could have fainted. "Th..thats a string bikini?" She said quietly and walked toward the very loud purple haired girl very nervously.

"I.. I think you misunderstand me ma'am. It's not for me, I'm shopping for someone else. She has a size written beside it." She said and showed Bree the size. Bree whistled and pulled out the right size and handed it to Cora.

Cora took it in a very embarrassed manner, "Thank you all for your help." She whispered and pulled her hood down over her face even more. She turned to walk toward the cashier.

She heard Bree say, "I sure would hate to see the woman wearing that thing, especially while she's wearing it."

Cora bit her lip to keep from smiling, sure that Alex was probably hiding some where watching her. Of course that was just years of living with Thomas and becoming paranoid talking.

[Alavda Noir]

Alavda felt sorry for Cora, "Poor thing," she whispered. She followed Cora to the cashier since she needed to buy her swimsuit as well, "It was very nice meeting you Cora," she put her shyness away for a moment, this girl looked like she needed some kindness, "I'm Alavda, by the way. You don't have to call me 'ma'am.'" she smiled at the girl.

[Cora Remis]

At the mention of Alavda's name, Cora turned around completely and actually looked into Alavda's face, her own eyes wide open. When she realized what she was doing, as soon as the surprise left her, she dropped her eyes and nodded.

"It was nice to meet you too, Ma'am.. I mean, Alavda." She said quietly.

This couldn't be Thomas's Alavda, could it? Cora thought to herself, How many Alavda's could there be that are french vampires? But surely there was more than just one.

[Alavda Noir]

Alavda's eyebrows raised at Cora's reaction, "Is something wrong?" she asked. Cora seemed to be deep in thought, "Are you in some sort of trouble, cherie?" she looked to see if she could catch Belle's eye.

[Annabelle Ventus]

Annabelle paid for her suit and waited by the end of the store for everyone else. "You guys ready to go get something to eat? I know I am!" She says waving them all on. "Come on Bree, the faster we do this the fast we can go on some adventures!" She said. Just the word "adventure" made her feel like a kid again.

[Alona Knight]

Alona hurried out of the change room, not wanting to keep her newly made friends waiting, wearing only one of her sandals while desperately trying to put the other one on on the run. "I'm sorry it took me so long! I lost a sandal, but it was hiding outside the change room. Took me forever to find it!" Then she noticed the new girl they were helping and wondered who she was. But she was already leaving so Alona caught up with Belle and waited with her at the doors at the end of the store for the others.

[Cora Remis]

Cora would not meet Alavda's eyes any longer, and infact she went out of her way to avoid them. She started fiddling with the material of the bathing suit instead of looking at Alavda.

"No, everything is fine ma'am. Its just that your name caught me off guard. I've heard the name before." She said.

[Bree Aldertree]

"Oo I love the sound of adventure! I'm totally ready to go!" Bree cheered. She tied the bag with her bathing suit around a belt loop of her jeans and did a half flip so that she was on her hands. She was wanting to see if she could walk all the way to the food court on her hands.

"So what are you in the mind for?" She asked her friend. Then she turned to Alona when she joined them.

"If you lost it for good, then you'd have to hop on one leg for the rest of the day. OO! That sounds like fun! I'll have to try that sometime, just hopping around on one leg for the whole day!" she said and grinned.

[Alavda Noir]

Alavda saw that Cora was purposefully not looking her in the eye, "Oh? Where have you heard it? Oh, never mind! You don't have to tell me now, if you don't want to. It's just that you looked utterly terrified for a few seconds. And you don't have to call me 'Ma'am,'" a cheerful laugh escaped her lips, "I won't bite you, cherie."

She looked up to see that the rest of the group was about to leave the store, "Say, how about after we purchase our items...we're going to the food court after this, do you want to come?"

[Annabelle Ventus]

"I was thinking about going to that Sorcerer hangout you were talking about earlier, if you don't mind that is." Annabelle says, slightly laughing at Bree for walking on her hands. "Do you think you can get all the way to the food court like that?" She says and looks at Neah and Nate. "You guys about ready?" She asks since they were the only ones who hadn't even mentioned leaving yet.

[Cora Remis]

Cora quickly shook her head and held up the list, still keeping her eyes directed toward the floor. Of course it wasn't uncommon for Cora to not make eye contact.

"No thank you Mm.. I mean Alavda, I still have to get the rest of the stuff on this list." She said and turned away from Alavda so that she could pay the cashier.

"It was very nice meeting you though, thank you so much for your help." Cora said to Alavda after she paid for Alex's suit. Then she quickly disappeared.

[Neah Brightmore]

Nate and Neah walked toward Annabelle, Bree, and Alona. Neah took the shopping bag so that her brother wouldn' t have to be carrying around a girly type bag around the mall.

"Lunch sounds great, I'm starved. What kind of food do you like anyway Annabelle?" She asked. She giggled when Bree flipped onto her hands and started walking around.
