The Food Court

[Nick Hampton]

Nick smiles at her and looks at the two. "You should be ok...unless you guys were actually doing anything.." He says and puts his arms behind his head and looked over with a one eye glance to see Annabelle turn redder. "I'm just joking with you, Belle" He said laughing slightly.

"So your quiet Jessa, thinking about something?" he says putting his attention back to that side of the table.

[Jessa Johanson]

Jessa looked up at Nick and smiled, "Oh sorry, I was zoning out I guess." She said. "So I've only seen Nate and Neah at school, will any of the rest of you be attending the Academy?" She asked.

She was enjoying her new friends and would hate to not see them again.

[Annabelle Ventus]

"Oh the Academy? I just enrolled there last week, I should be starting there this Monday." Annabelle said with a smile. "It's good to know that I will know people there.." she said and smiles at Jessa, Neah and Nate. "Is the school nice?" She asked out of curiousity.

[Nick Hampton]

Nick slightly looked away and cleared his throat. "Well, I don't really go to school...I teach myself things.." He said, slightly embarrassed by the fact. He didn't wanna tell them the real reason he didn't go to school so the just quickly made a joke."But hey, I don't have to deal with nagging teachers right?" He said smiling at all of them.

[Jak Chase]

Jak took Alavda's hand and bowed courteously. "It's a pleasure, Miss Noir." Jak raised Alavda's hand closer to his face, but let it go and got back up. "Now, if I kissed your hand as the gesture goes, I'd look like I was flirting with you, and I don't wanna go back to square one." Jak smiled and looked over to Jessa and Szayel, which the latter was staring at him with daggers, with his previous name of "Chuckles". "Yes, goofy is true, but then again, we're all a little goofy on the inside, aren't we?"

[Alavda Noir]

Alavda laughed slightly when Jak said that kissing her hand would make it look like he was flirting with her, "Well, we wouldn't want that, would we?" she smiled, "Life would be pretty boring if someone wasn't goofy sometimes, no?" she pushed back some of her curly black hair behind an ear.

[Jessa Johanson]

Jessa watched Jak with Ala and raised her eyebrow slightly, a slight grin on her face. When he said that everyone was alittle goofy on the inside, she forced the smile off of her face and tried to look completely serious.

"Not true, I'm not goofy at all," She said and tried to keep from laughing. When She knew she couldn't hold back the smile any longer, she put her hand over her mouth. Her eyes were shining with humor.

She then turned to Nick and smiled at him, "Hey its okay if we don't go to the same school, we can still hang out, right?" She asked. Then she turned to Annabelle, "If you need anyone to show you around school, I'll do it. I'm sure that Aralynn and I could do it I mean."

[Jak Chase]

Jak's posture deterierated and he looked very sarcastic. "Oh, yeah, you're totally rock solid." Jak had the cheesiest sarcastic tone in his voice.

[Nick Hampton]

"You not goofy? Uh-huh, if anyone isn't goofy here it would be me.." Nick says and pretends to fall out of his seat and catches himself before he did. When he gets back up he puts his elbow on the table and puts his head on his hand and smiles charmingly as if nothing happened.

[Jessa Johanson]

Jessa raised her eyebrow at Jak and took a napkin that she had balled up and threw it at him. It hit his nose and she giggled.

"Thats what you get, you're such a smarty pants." She said in a playfully angry voice.

She then giggled at Nick, "You're adorable, thats what you are." She said and playfully pushed his arm slightly.

[Alavda Noir]

When Nick nearly fell out of his chair, Alavda just laughed, knowing that he did it on purpose, "Nick, I usually don't say this to people that I meet for the first time, but I think that we're going to be good friends. And Jessa's right, you are adorable," she smiled.

Another bit of laughter came from Alavda when Jessa threw a napkin at Jak, "She's right you know, Jak. You deserved it." she was feeling very playful right now...

[Annabelle Ventus]

"...And it's good!" Annabelle says and puts both her ands up and laughs. "So Bree, are you ready to go on some adventures?" She asks not wanting to miss out on that part of the day. "Anyone else can come to..if that's ok with you" She says, smiling at her friend.

[Nick Hampton]

Nick blushes and smiles at both Jessa and Ala. "I'm not adorable..." He says laughing slightly. "When you says that I think of...well Annabelle" He says pointing to her and looking at Nate. "Not like that dude, she's just small and...well young looking" he says then sees Belle pout at him. He tilts his wondering what he did.

[Alavda Noir]

Alavda looked over at Belle, "Hmmm..." she thought, "she does look a bit like a puppy..."

"As for the adventure, I think I'll tag along for a bit. It sounds fun," she thought about it a bit more, "Actually, I don't even know what we're adventuring for. Was it that...uh...that castle?"

[Bree Aldertree]

"Adventure? OOOH! I'm ready whenever you are!" Bree said happily. She loved adventures.

She turned to look at Alavda, "There's a castle? I seriously need to pay more attention to when people talk about this place. Is it creepy?"
