The Food Court

[Nate Brightmore]

Nate raised his eyebrow, finally finding a chink in Bree's "armor". He grinned, and crossed his arms.

"Whats the matter Bree? Are you jealous?" He asked.

Bree's eyes widened and she looked at Nate then at Jak and Szayel. Once again, she was shocked into silence.

Nate grinned as if he just won.

"So yeah, the park then the cove. Though I'm not sure that Neah and I will be much welcomed there. We were just there last week for Hunter business." He added.

[Annabelle Ventus]

"Your going with us, I think it would be ok" Annabelle says to Nate without looking at him, only because she was too busy trying not to laugh at Bree and Jaks antics. "You guys are soooo cute" she says holding her cheeks and tilting her head to make an "aww" face, then cracked up laughing.

[Bree Aldertree]

Bree raised one of her eyebrows and looked at Annabelle. Instead of actually responding though, she simply stuck her tongue out.

She playfully pushed Jak away, "You're so silly A.B." She said and grinned.

[Annabelle Ventus]

Annabelle just closes her eyes and says one last thing to Bree. "Ya, I know, but if I wasn't I would be boring." She then looks back over at the twins. "If it is a huge issue for you guys to go, you don't have to...Last thing I want is a huge conflict, though I would really like it if you guys could go."

[Nick Hampton]

"Oh don't let her say that, she just wants to see Nate in his swim trunks.." Nick said just because he loved watching the way others reacted. Seeing Annabelle stiffen and turn as red as the streaks in his hair, he felt satisfied then looked over at Jessa and Lynn and stood up. "Well, I'll just meet you all at the park, don't leave without me ok?" He says, waving at the group and walking away.

[Alavda Noir]

Alavda could hardly believe that Bree was stunned into silence. She always thought that the sorceress would always have a comeback of some sort ready.

She turned her attention to the hunters, "I agree with Belle. I'd like for you two to be there, but if there will be a problem..."

[Nate Brightmore]

Nate looked at his sister, then he touched Annabelle's nose and grinned. "Don't worry Beautiful, we're going. I wouldn't pass up the chance to see you in that bathing suit again." He said and blushed instantly. He couldn't believe that slipped out of his mouth.

Neah giggled and covered her mouth. She then cleared her throat once she recovered, "Right, um.. we'll be fine. They'll just have to realize that we're not on Hunter business."

[Jak Chase]

Jak laughed once again, but now at Nate's comment to Bree. "Nice!" Jak went up to Nate and high-fived him. "She's so totally jealous!" Jak said as he walked up behind Bree and put his hands on her shoulders. "Don't worry, I can share. You know, if Chuckles won't be too heartbroken about it." Jak looked over at Szayel who was drinking his smoothie, still. Szayel raised his middle finger at Jak, but Jak just laughed.

[Annabelle Ventus]

Annabelle looked away, blushed as well but laughed a bit. Did he really just say that? Even the beautiful part? She kinda squirmed a bit uncomfortably. She had never been called beautiful before and she didn't know how to handle it. She look back at him and smiled in excitement. "I'm glad that you guys are going" she says and hugs his arm.

[Bree Aldertree]

Bree chuckled and flipped Jak on the nose. She then looked at Szayel and pointed at him, she then did the hand gesture for "shame shame". "Ooo Spikes! That's baaad, do you eat with that hand?" She asked, taking on the tone of an adult. She was trying to keep a straight face, but failed miserably.

"Great, so we're all going! So I guess we'll all just meet at the park. How about near the enterance? We can take the trolley from the park to the Cove if you all want to." She said.

[Alavda Noir]

Alavda watched the exchange with a smile on her face. Her eyebrows raised when Szayel flipped Jak off.

"Meet at the entrance of the park? Sounds good to me."

[Szayel]

Szayel finished off his smoothie. It was a satient for his... hunger. "Ah, hell. Why not? I'll go, too." Szayel threw his smoothie cup over his shoulder and into the waste basket. "I think it'll be cool." Jak walked toward the rest of the crowd with his hand still on Bree's shoulder. "Rad. Like a little party. A get together. This is gonna be awsome. And, I get to see you in a swim suit." Jak said the last part to Bree, playfully elbowing her softly, showing he was teasing her again. Szayel sighed as he realized he didn't have a swimsuit, so he would buy one after everyone else left.

[Adam Dupre]

Adam still had Maggie on his shoulders as he lazily strolled through the mall, pointing out various shops to her, "Here's the best place!" he announced as they reached the food court, "You can put as many scoops as you want on the cone. It's completely awesome," he said a matter-of-factly.

He took a moment to look over the menu, "See anything you like, Mags?"

[Maggie Stone]

Maggie stared all around her, this place was nothing like Vilco Urvas. For one thing, there were a bunch of adamites.. they seemed really weird to her. Still, this dimension was amazing!

"Hm.. ooohh! They have superman flavor! Can I have a scoop of that and a scoop of vanilla?" She asked, already imagining the way the two flavors would taste together. "What's your favorite flavor of icecream Adam?" She asked, now deciding to play with the purple in his hair.

[Adam Dupre]

Adam enjoyed her enthusiasm. There was nothing that made him happier than an excited child...well, maybe Lyla or his guns, but those held a different kind of happy.

He chuckled, "Course you can!" he grinned, "And my favorite flavor...hm hm hm..." he thought for a second, "I don't really have a favorite...but anything with peanut butter is reeaaaaal good. Like peanut butter 'n' chocolate? Yum." His scalp tickled when she played with his hair.

He put in the orders, handed Maggie hers (while she was still on his shoulders!) then payed for the treats, "Let's see...see anywhere you wanna sit?"
