The Food Court

[Zen Cedar]

"No, with travelling around so much.. I never stayed in one place long enough to make friends. Well not friends that I can talk to without everyone looking at me like I'm looney, dude. But its alright, I'm not stressing over it." Zen answered Jak and smiled to show just how much she meant it.

She was a full believer that if things were meant to happen, then they would happen. Besides, it wasn't like she was lonely. Though she was happy to have met Jak.

"So alot of friends huh?" She asked, "I can totally see that dude." She said.

[Heather Delani]

Heather watched the new guy walk in and get his smoothie. He was very good looking, but nothing compared to Nate Brightmore, even though Nate never gave her any attention.

She pushed her blond hair over her shoulder and smiled flirtatiously at Szayel. Her friend was still talking in her ear, but she was ignoring it, atleast for now.

[Jessa Johanson]

Jessa saw Szayel in the smoothie shop and waved at him when it looked like he was looking her way. She also noticed that Heather was trying to get his attention. She raised her eyebrow slightly.

[Jak Chase]

Jak looked over at the guy walking in the smoothie shop. Yet another supernatural. What was the deal, today? "Well, honestly, lemme tell ya a secret." Jak leaned in like it was important, though he was just milking it for comical effect. "They aren't 'friend' friends. I don't do none of that 'friendly' stuff, like getting a bite to eat. You're way cooler than them." Jak leaned back into his chair and sighed. "It sucks not having anyone cool here all the time. Speaking of which, how long are you staying? We have gotta hang out more, oh soulsibling of soulness and siblingness."

[Szayel]

Szayel looked out of the food court to see almost everyone who was at the club last night. It was quite the coincidence. He even saw Jessa and her friend. He noticed her waving at him, so he waved back with a smile. He turned back to the counter where the person who was no longer busy asked what he wanted. His reply was "the usual."

[Bree Aldertree]

Bree walked to the food court with her friends, on her hands of course. When she made it to the food court, she flipped right side up and landed perfectly on her feet. She held her hands up in the air and yelled "Yeahhh!" and she smiled at everyone who looked at her strangely.

She looked around to figure out where all of them were going to sit when she found Jak sitting with a cool looking girl. "Hey its Beanie!!!" She yelled and skipped over to where Jak was sitting. She threw her arms around him.

"Hey Beanie!" She said happily, then turned to Zen and smiled happily, "Hiya, Beanie is this your girlfriend?" She asked in a slightly teasing manner.

[Alavda Noir]

Alavda followed Bree in. She really hoped that she wouldn't run into anyone. She didn't think that Bree could see very well on her hands, but she was proven wrong when Bree made it to the food court, no chaos behind her, no broken bones. Everything was alright.

She looked around at the people, recognizing a few from the Nocturne. Then she noticed that Bree was skipping over to the idio- er -Jak.

Alavda nearly laughed when she heard Bree call Jak "Beany." She once again followed Bree over to the table.

[Jak Chase]

Jak laughed when he heard Bree approaching him. He heard her calling him "Beanie" and couldn't help another giggle. "What's up?" He responded to Bree's question by cocking his eyebrow. "Girlfriend? No way. She like, my new sister, my purple friend."

[Zen Cedar]

Zen looked up from taking a sip of her soda and blinked when Bree asked if she was Jak's girlfriend. She leaned back in her chair and grinned, "No way my friend. I believe that love should be given freely to all people. My heart is free as a bird flying high in the sky." She responded.

She noticed that Jak kept eyeing her drink and she stood up, "Nice meeting you all," She said to all the people that had followed Bree to their table, "Go ahead and have a seat. I'll be back in a minute." She said and carried her cup to the food stand that they bought their food at.

She reappeared a few minutes later carrying not only her cup but another cup of soda as well. She handed it to Jak, "Here you go my thirsty comrad." She said and sat back down.

[Bree Aldertree]

Bree still wore the smile on her face as she listened to Zen talk, then get up and walk away only to return. Bree cocked her head to the side and looked at Zen for a moment, then she started laughing.

"You're funny!" She said. She turned toward her other friends, "There's enough room here. Do you all want to sit with them?" She asked, her eyes bright.

[Jak Chase]

Jak saw Zen returning and eyed the drink she had like it was gold. He tokk it and immediately took a long sip. "You are seriously, the best sister ever." Jak took another drink. "So, who all's with you, Bree?"

[Annabelle Ventus]

Annabelle smiled and shook her head. "Looks like Bree has already made a new friend" She says and looks at Zen. "Is that Jak's girl? Hm..." she said then heard Jak say otherwise. "Hm..ok..Let's go meet them!" she says and drags him over to them.

"Hi there~" She says and smiles at Zen. "Bree behaving herself?" She says looking over at Bree and giggling a bit.

[Bree Aldertree]

Bree started listing the names of her friends that were with her currently while counting them on her fingers. When she was finished she nodded, "Aannd thats it!" She said and grinned as if she did a really hard thing.

When Annabelle asked if Bree was behaving herself, Bree pretended that she was horrified. She put her hands on her hips.

"Hey, I'm always behaving.. misbehaving.. but still behaving!" She said and grinned. "Well I'm starving, I'll be back in a flash. I hear pizza calling my name." She said and skipped away.

Zen laughed at Bree, then turned to Annabelle. "Its real groovy to meet you." She said and held up her hand in a wave.

"I'm Zen, so I'm guessing you guys are friends of Jak? And the purple girl is Bree? Now that is a wicked name." She said.

[Annabelle Ventus]

Annabelle smiled more are Zen now, she seemed very carefree, and she loved that about her. "It's an honor to meet you too. I'm Annabelle.." she says pointing to her self then pokes Nate playfully. "And this is Nate" she says giggling.
