Weekend Visit to the Cove

[Jak Chase]

Jak relaxed a bit and lowered his eyelids. "Ahhhh, alright. But I got my eye on you!" Jak closed one eye and opened the other terribly wide, adding emphasis to what he said to Bree. He floated away from the edge of the pool. He still had revenge in the back of his mind though... He noticed the tree that was now in the middle of the pool. He knew it was because of him, and he stopped to admire his "work". It looked good. It had a sort of... mystical feel that it added to the pool.

[Nate Brightmore]

Nate looked down at Annabelle for a moment, his smile taking on a sweeter look. He tightened his grip on the hug around her.

"No, I'll be happy to hug you until you want me to stop," he answered.

He freed one of his hands from around Annabelle only to trace her bottom lip with his finger. "You shouldn't look so sad, its nearly a crime for someone as beautiful and special as you." He added.

He then let that hand move down to her side and tickled her slightly, and chuckled.

[Bree Aldertree]

Bree gulped in a very joking manner then bursted out laughing. She stepped away from Nick and put her thumbs up to her ears and wiggled her fingers while saying "na nan anana" to Jak. However, after a moment, she forgot all about jak because she was looking at Szayel. She decided to go attempt to push him into the water and was making her way over to where he was sitting, a mischevious grin curving her lips.

[Annabelle Ventus]

Annabelle didn't know how to react to any of what Nate did, so she just smiled and slightly looked away shyly while blushing. Her blush turned darker when Nate put his finger on her bottom lip.

When he tickled her though, she made a "Neh" sound and jumped a bit and laughed. Then, she had calmed down she smiled at first then slowly and shyly she kissed him on the cheek.

"Y-your way too s-s-sweet to me, you know that?" She stuttered out, though her eyes changed to a bright silver from time to time as if they were shining.

[Nick Hampton]

Nick looks over at Bree and then looks over at Jessa with a worried face. "I hope she doesn't do anything..stupid" He says then looks over at his brother and Alavda. He really wanted to know what was going on. It wasn't like his brother to be like this, at all.

From what he could remember, he never hung out with any girls, or seemed in any hurry like there mother was, to get married. So why now? To anyone viewing his thoughts by his face, they saw a huge amount of confusion and worry on it.

[Jessa Johanson]

"I'm sure that she'll be fine." Jessa said, watching Bree.

She was about to say something else, but when she turned back to look at Nick, whatever she had been about to say was forgotten. The look on his face caused her own eyebrows to knit together in worry. She followed his gaze and saw that he was looking at his brother and Alavda.

The two of them seemed to be getting along pretty well. Jessa didn't understand what could be the cause of Nick's worry and confusion. She turned back to him and gently touched his shoulder.

"Hey, whats wrong?" She asked quietly, so that no one else would really pay attention.

She looked around to see if she could spot Aralynn and noticed that she was just looking around at everyone. She told herself that she'd go talk to Aralynn after she made sure that Nick was okay. After all, she was standing right with him.

[Nate Brightmore]

"Definately not," Nate whispered, his head low to where he could whisper right in Annabelle's ear.

"I'm only as sweet as you deserve." He added, and pushed her hair away from her face and stared into her eyes. It was almost as if he were transfixed.

Suddenly he cleared his throat and looked away, as if he finally remembered that they were not alone. "So what do you suggest we do now? Swim perhaps?" He asked.

[Nick Hampton]

Nick had continued to look at his brother and Alavda until he heard Jessa ask if he was alright. He quickly snapped out of it and smiled at her. "Yeah, I'm ok and there is nothing wrong...it's just that, well, I'll explain it to you another time ok?" He says and then notices Jessa looking at Aralynn. "You know, you should go talk to her. She's probably pretty lonely."

[Annabelle Ventus]

Annabelle smiled lightly at Nate. She felt a little unease when she saw Nate staring at her eyes. It wasn't a bad feeling though. It was just one that she had never felt before. She noticed that she herself was staring and looked away quickly as well. She chuckled a bit to get the awkwardness away from herself.

"So if I was mean to you again, you wouldn't be sweet to me no more?" She said in a teasing manner then thought about his question. "Oh I don't know..maybe we could get back at Jak for throwing us in the water earlier...no I'm not Bree anymore, I can't get away with that." She says and giggles a bit.

"I think swimming is a great idea, though it's been awhile since I last swam." She says and laughs nervously. "Or we could find Neah and hang out with her..I don't even know where she went..." She said and turned her head to look for Neah.

[Alavda Noir]

As Alavda got back into the water, she looked around to see what everyone else was doing. An "Awww..." nearly escaped her lips when she saw Belle and Nate. Then she looked over at Jak and Bree. Alavda knew that something mischievous was going to happen over there...

Then she saw that Nick was staring at Elliot and her. He seemed almost...worried--or was it confusion? When Nick looked away to something that Jessa said to him, Alavda said, "Your brother is very nice, Elliot."

[Neah Brightmore]

Neah got out of the water and moved to sit beside Szayel. She put her arms around her knees and rested her head sideways on her arm while studying Szayel. She didn't bother saying anything, simply staring.

[Elliot Hampton]

Elliot had looked around and noticed that he remembered the twins and the girl that his brother was with, but instead of embarrassing them all he just sat there and grinned at the fun they were having. He did notice however his brother staring over at him and Alavda, and that was when he heard what Alavda said.

"...only to the right people he is.." He said sadly. He knew that Nick was a good kid inside, people just needed to treat him with respect to get that kind kid.

[Nate Brightmore]

"I'd always be sweet to you," Nate answered Annabelle's question and winked at her.

At the mention of his twin sister's name, he looked around and spotted her sitting with the vampire dude. His body tensed for a moment, it was a habit since most hunters didn't have good history with vampires.

"Looks like she's found a new friend," he said, not sounding too happy about it. Perhaps it was more so the fact that she was sitting with a guy rather than a vampire since he wouldn't care really if she was sitting beside that girl vampire.

[Annabelle Ventus]

Annabelle followed Nate's eyes to see where Neah was and smiled. "Well that's only Szay, he's the quiet type, he's not like Jak, Nate. You don't need to worry." She says and puts her hand on his shoulder. "But I'll watch him just to make sure. Till then um..why don't we go with your swimming idea!" She says in a happy tone trying to get his attention away from Szay and Neah.

[Szayel]

Szayel had been eying the water cautiously. He wondered if he should get in soon, since everyone else seemed to. He noticed Neah came and sat down by him. He looked over and watched her stare at him for about a minute. "Yes?"
