Weekend Visit to the Cove

[Izzy Andrade L.]

"Huh... Is there a reason why you don't want to have fun with us?" Izzy asked after hearing Ala. He remembered that she was a vampire and that she probably had an ability which might prevent her from enjoying herself in this game, but such trival matters wasn't going to stop Izzy. "Ala I know you don't want to play but can you play with me? It'll be fun... I promise," he said with a smile.

[Alavda Noir]

Alavda looked over at Izzy when he started to beg her to play. She thought about it some more, knowing that she was going to see into someone's past. She really didn't want to find out about anyone's past without their permission.

Just as she was about to decline, Annabelle chimed into the conversation, "If you're worried about your 'touch thing,'" she whispered to Alavda so that only she could hear, "We can use towels!"

Towels sounded like a good idea. As she thought more about it, she realized that she could play, "Sure I'll play...but what about you, Elliot?"

[Elliot Hampton]

Elliot had be slightly upset on how this Izzy character was pushing himself onto Alavda. In Elliot's mind, it was quite disrespectful, and he would have said something if he didn't want to embarrass his brother. He looked back at Alavda when she asked him her question.

"Oh, well I'll just sit out, maybe I might play the next round...for now you all enjoy yourselves." He said smiling at her.

[Jessa Johanson]

Jessa nearly dropped the ball when it inflated on its own. When Julius said something about the kitchen sink, she looked over at Nick and raised her eyebrow.

"Um, thank you sir." She said and gently nudged Nick away from the man. When they were a good enough distance away, she stopped.

"W..was there a kitchen sink in his bag?" She asked, her eyebrows raised.

"This place, its really something else.. I've.. never been anywhere like this.. and I've never met anyone like him." She said, whispering, but not in a very frightened kind of way. Something about it drew her in.

"So um.. how's here for the game?" she asked.

[Nate Brightmore]

"Well then, with you as my partner there's no way we'd lose." Nate said, this time more confident and feeling confident. He reached out and pushed her hair away from her face and gave her a nod.

He turned as he heard Alavda say that she wasn't really interested in playing, and he also heard Izzy pushing her. This bugged him and he could tell that it bugged the new guy too. He was about to say something when Alavda said that she would play.

[Nick Hampton]

Nick couldn't speak for a few minutes after he was dragged away. He tried to mouth out something, but all that came out was air. When Jessa dragged him off he felt as if he could finally talk.

"Y-yes..there was a s-sink in that bag.." He said in his stuttered voice again. He just nodded to the rest of what she said and when she asked if that was a good place for a game, he smiled at her and said yes.

[Neah Brightmore]

Neah watched everyone walking around and she leaned back against the grass and covered her eyes with her arm. She could still sense Szayel sitting beside her.

"So are you going to play chicken or swim, or play volleyball?" She asked without looking at him.

She propped one of her legs up on her other knee so that the foot would dangle in the air, and bounced it up and down to music that was playing in her head.

"Oh cool, alright lets do this!" Izzy said happily. "Ala there's no way we are going to lose!" He said energetically. "Well I should see if anybody else wants to play," Izzy said as he headed to the others.

"Hey you guys want to play chicken," he asked Jak and Bree first.

[Annabelle Ventus]

Annabelle smiles at Nate and hugs his arm. "Hehe, you guys are all in trouble now" She said then she looked over at Izzy and Ala.

"Sorry Ala, but we have to win, no hard feelings right?" she said sticking her tongue out at the two. "Wait..who all is playing anyways?" She said looking at everyone that was at the cove with them.

[Alavda Noir]

"Are you sure, Elliot?" she asked. She enjoyed talking to him, and would hate for him to be left out.

Alavda laughed at what Belle said, "I'll try not to throw you across the water," she said, referring to her vampiric strength.

She watched Izzy leave the scene, "I don't know. It looks like he's going to try to get Jak and Bree to play."

[Bree Aldertree]

Bree stopped her teasing of Jak only to turn to Izzy. She tilted her head slightly, and blinked. She didn't remember Izzy coming with them..

"Icee!" She cheered and rushed to hug him, causing both of them to fall into the water. She hopped up and pulled him up with her, giggling the whole time.

"What was that you said? Chicken?" She asked, and tapped her chin with her index finger as she tried to think. She hadn't ever heard of the game since she lived with only sorcerers before moving here.

"Oh I know! Its where we turn everyone into chickens and see who lays the biggest egg, right?" She asked, her eyes getting wide and bright with excitement.

Izzy burst in a laugh after he heard Bree's explinations. "No... It... Isn't... that..." Izzy said cutting in between to laugh, after he gain his composure he started to explain the game to Bree. "Well the game is play with a two players usually a girl and guy and they try to make the opposing teams fall into the water... That's it... It doesn't have anything with transforming anyone... So don't even try it," Izzy said.

[Elliot Hampton]

Elliot smiled at Ala again and nodded. "Yeah, I'm sure..and maybe, that is if you want to, you could be my partner in the next round?" He asks smiling in a bit of a shy way, a uncommon smile for him.

"As I said though, that is only if you want to later, I won't force you. Have fun this round though alright?" He said with an eye closed smile, turned around, and walked out of the water to join the others that were not playing.

Alavda thought Elliot was being really sweet, "Thanks Elliot," she smiled back, "We'll see about the next round," she wasn't going to make any promises until she knew if she liked the game or not.

She turned to Belle, "May the best girl...and guy...win," she held out a gloved hand.

[Jak Chase]

Jak had giggled at Bree's lack of composure, even after her threat, but that was funny, too. He had heard the mention of the game, chicken. He rubbed his hands together diabolically, as if he had a plan when he really didn't. "Shoot, I'll do it!" Jak said with excitement. He had been dying for someone to mention games. "Who's with me?"
