All About You
The Basics
Name:
Dax Chase
Age:
16
Gender
Male
Species
Adamite
What Makes You Who You Are
Personality:
Dax is a boy genius, and has an ego large enough to match his I.Q. Dax is nearly as cocky as his cousin, Jak, but it's a well known fact that he is nowhere near as lazy. Dax worked his way to the very top ranks of the school where he is now by working hard and giving it everything. Dax does let his imagination get the better of him at times, but won't go too astray. Dax has an incredible interest in machinery and science, so he makes sure to take the most advanced classes possible. He is a natural over-achiever. Also, unlike his cousin, he doesn't hit on every pretty girl he sees, but he does tend to drool over them. He simply doesn't have the resolve to talk to them.
Appearance
Dax has very dirty-looking hair. It's not that he doesn't wash it, it's just that the grease from all the machines he's worked on has stained it and made it very sloppy looking. Dax actually takes very good care of his body for a genius who would usually let their mind do all the work. He wears goggles on any occasion he can, even school. He usually prefers not to wear a shirt, but in school, he wears just a grease-stained tank top and a zepplin pilot jacket. All of his pants are stained and torn from countless mishaps with machinery. Dax usually has a tool pouch at his waist and always has a wrench in his pocket.
Likes:
Dislikes:
Goal(s):
Dax has three goals: To be the world's greatest mechanic, to prove that technology can solve more problems than magic, and to learn how to talk to girls.
Fears:
Dax fears that technology itself will one day become obsolete to magic. He is also scared to talk to pretty or unfamiliar girls.
Alignment:
Light
Life As You Know It
Family: Living or Deceased
Dax's parents both died in a car wreck when he was 9.
History:
Dax was raised as any boy genius would be. By the time he was 2, he was reading full blown novels and even had a favorite author. When Dax was 5, he taught himself how to fix his parents' broken down car. His parents were so proud that their son was a genius. After Dax fixed the car, he became fascinated with machinery. He read manuals, books, and websites on fixing anything machine. As a young child, he and his cousin, Jak, would hang out, play games, and tease Dax's second cousin, Heather. People would think Jak and Dax were brothers. When Dax was 9, both of his parents died in a car wreck and Dax only broke two ribs and his left arm. For a while he was devistated, but he pulled through thanks to his cousin Jak and his parents. Dax refused to go into a foster home or orphanage, so Jak's parents adopted him. Dax wanted to live by himself, so he set up a self-made home in the town junkyard. Since he is technically the adopted child of Mr. and Mrs. Chase, they pay for his schooling. Dax also skipped two grades in his life. He skipped 7th grade to 8th grade, then again his junior year. He's now a senior, even though he's only 16.
That thing you do
Strength:
Dax is incredibly smart and in great shape. He can fix almost anything with nuts, screws, nails or bolts in it.
Weakness:
Dax's imagination may get the better of him and wind up getting him either lost or severely disappointed. Dax has absolutely no guts when it comes to talking to girls
