Thomas tried to keep his attention on Lilith as she invited him and his father to tea with her. Even the temptation of tea didn't completely cool his head off.
But it did enough for him that he was able to be pleasant.
"Tea sounds lovely, Lilith," he managed to give off a pleasant smile, "I think I shall join you," he sat down, appearing as if a fight had never occurred.
Felix also sat down, "It is rare, isn't it?" he was in a cheerful mood, "It's a shame that we all are usually half a world apart," he chuckled, "Ah, so I've seen and heard that your ballroom was destroyed. It seems to be almost finished. That's fast work if I've ever seen a room rebuilt."

Cora looked at his outstretched hand for a few seconds and then up at his face. She didn't want him to worry, and hearing the worry in his voice caused her pain, but at the same time, she knew that she wouldn't be able to move away from the castle unless Thomas agreed to it. If she ran away, Thomas would stop at nothing to get her, and then he'd kill her.. or worse..
She slowly put her hand in Dakota's. "I will go with you right now, but I cannot promise that I won't come back. Don't you see that what he does to me now.. it's nothing compaired to what he would do to me if I ran? But I.. I will think of some way to make it seem like his idea.. or.. someone that he respects.. to have me move out. It's the only way." she said, her eyes pleading with him to understand.

"Yes, and it was such a pity... but I'm sure that it was a party that many will be talking about for many many years." She said, giving Thomas an amused look since he was the one that awakened the Chosen One, "Your sister of course is still upset about the cost of the ballroom, even though the money is coming out of the town treasury. I'm afraid that we'll need a designer though. Alex should be looking for artists that work cheaply."
The tea came, and she noticed the servant quickly place something in her pocket when she spotted Thomas sitting for tea as well. This amused Lilith as well, knowing that Thomas' hate for lemon must surely be widely known now among the staff.
"Are both of you enjoying your stay in Shadow Peak?" She questioned.

"A pity indeed. That has always been my favorite room...well, second favorite," his first favorite room shall not be mentioned, "Alexandra never did like spending money on anything," he shook his head, "Not even makeup...of course, she says something about how she doesn't need makeup, but...well, you've seen her," he watched the servant girl bring the tea and wondered what her blood type was. He didn't see her place the lemon in her pocket. Thomas didn't seem to notice either.
"I'm having a wonderful stay so far. But I wish that I could have a nice adamite to bite into. One that has lots of spirit. They always taste better when they struggle, isn't that right, Thomas?"

Thomas caught the look that Lilith gave him and smirked. The Chosen One certainly had sweet-tasting blood. He wasn't sure if he regretted biting her or not. On one hand, he had really great tasting blood, but on the other, he had to face the wrath of Azrael.
He almost laughed at the thought of Alex actually hiring a big-shot artist to redesign the ballroom. If anyone could stretch a penny to a thousand dollars, it was his aunt! She didn't care too much of the quality as long as she still had a fat wallet.
"This has been a rather...fruitful stay," he replied to Lilith, "I've found someone who has been missing for over three centuries," he was referring to Alavda, of course.
When his father said the thing about struggling adamites tasting better, a corner of Thomas' mouth lifted slightly, "It depends on how bored I am. But I'd rather that they just hold still. It's too messy otherwise."

Dakota smiled ever so slightly when Cora agreed to come with him. He was slightly hurt by her words and brought her close to hold her, not caring about his rib at all.
"I won't let him hurt you again. If he comes after you, I'll defend you with all I am...I swear it." He said then let her go and moved away some hair that was in her face. "Have faith in me, ok?"
"So..are you ready to go?" Dakota smiled.

Chastity was walking outside of the castle looking for Felix. Where was he? She was feeling awfully lonely.
Aha! There he was! He was facing away from her, but she'd know him anywhere. But what was he doing talking to his son's servant? Oh! Felix was a flirt, but she knew that he wouldn't cheat on her, right? Right?
As quietly as she could, she sneaked behind Felix and slid her hands around his waist, feeling his chiseled abs, "Hey you hunk of burning love," she said in her most sultry voice before planting a quick kiss on his shoulder blade.

"Meeting old friends is a very good thing, I'm glad that you were able to cross paths again Thomas." She said.
"Yes, and there's nothing worse than a messy meal." Lilith said, though she preferred the servants that they had at the castle that were hired specifically for the feedings. Lilith had a distaste for those that fed by force, but she wouldn't let anyone else know of that fact.
"Oh, and Thomas, I've been thinking.. I know that Cora has been going to the Academy, and I assume that it's so that she can play spy for you for whatever reason.. and I had to wonder if you had thought of the information she could obtain if she lived outside of the castle. I hope you don't think I'm overstepping my bounds, but I'm sure you would be happy with the outcome of a change of scenery for Cora. Are you familiar with Tenebrae Manor? It's an apartment building specifically for vampires that choose not to live here at the castle for whatever reason. I'm sure that your aunt would love the idea of gaining another tennant that she can get rent money from." Lilith said.

Dakota saw the hurt in Dakota's eyes and looked down at the ground. She had to find a way to make him happy again. She couldn't bear the thought of him being sad because of her. "Yes, I'm ready to go." She said.
But suddenly she sensed another vampire and looked up just in time to see Chastity wrapping her arms around Dakota and kissing his shoulder blade. Cora's eyes widened, but she didn't say anything. She wasn't sure what was going on.. was Chastity having an affair with Dakota? There is no way she would be so open about it here at the castle, not when Felix was so close.. so did she confuse Dakota for Felix? Cora didn't know.

Dakota was glad that Cora was going to come along with him and just before he could turn around, he felt someone put their arms around his waist...and almost trying to put their hands up his shirt. Sure...Dakota was enjoying what was going on, but part of him was wondering who the heck this person was.
He then heard the woman call him that and kiss his shoulder. He turned his head and looked at her, chuckling. "Well, I know I am...but I think you are thinking of someone else...maybe Thomas or Felix?" He continued to chuckle as he removed her hands, trying to hold the disgust in of the woman being with either his father or brother. Especially if it was his father.
He then looked over at Cora and poked her. "Um..so, do you know this woman? She has um.." He stated then looked back, "red hair..and kind of looks like a prettier Alex...though that isn't saying much.." He whispered the last part.

"Yes, I'm glad too. Very glad indeed," he was ecstatic, really, "Perhaps you'll be able to meet her soon," because Alavda would soon be at his side again, "I think that you would like her, Lilith," he thought that he would have to pay another visit to Alavda very soon.
Then he listened to Lilith's proposition about Cora. It was an interesting thought, he had to admit, but he wasn't sure about it. He didn't like the idea of his servant being so far. Not that he cared for her, but he liked to know where she was under his boot at all times, "I've heard of the place," he said thoughtfully, "And I see the benefits..." he was silent for a few seconds, sipping his tea. Seeped to perfection, "It would make my Aunt happy..." not that he really cared, but the more money the woman had, the more she sat, mouth shut, as she counted her money, "I like the idea," he decided at last, "I'll have to arrange for it," he would also have to make sure that she understood that even though he was letting her live out of the castle, it did NOT mean that she was free by any means. She was still under his boot, no matter where she went.

Chastity was horrified! This wasn't Felix?
...no matter. He was pretty good-looking.
Even as he pulled her arms off him, she got in front of him and weaved her fingers in his hair, "Oh, I don't mind if you're not him," she said as she leaned in to kiss him on the mouth. Chastity was not a virtue she possessed.
But then he said that comment about her and Alex. She jumped away from him, "Not saying much? It says a lot! I look NOTHING like that wart of a woman!" she hissed, "Who are you anyhow?" she sounded angry, she hadn't noticed Cora yet, "Any man who sees me would never say anything like that! A poet once wrote a poem about my beauty!" so what if the poet was three at the time? She knew that she was beautiful. Felix wouldn't keep her if she wasn't. Of course, she knew that he loved her...right? Right.

Cora glanced up at Chastity then looked down at her hands. She wasn't really upset about what happened between Chastity and Dakota.. well maybe there might have been a small portion of an emotion that could be jealousy, but she pushed it away. She had no right to feel jealous, Dakota was only a friend and she would never assume someone would feel differently about her. No, it wasn't the jealousy that caused her to keep her eyes down. It was worry. If Chastity was already here, then Felix could possibly show up out here instead of staying in the Garden.
"Yes... she is Chastity R.. Raven. She's Felix's ...... " Cora hesitated a moment, unsure of how to describe Felix's relationship with Chastity, "friend." was what she chose. It wasn't her place to explain their relationship.

Dakota was slightly taken aback when the woman kissed him, this always happened to him though...he was just glad that she backed off, and even more so when Cora said that this woman was Felix's...friend. He had to hold back from throwing up.
"So in other words....she's Felix's....play..thing..." He said, then looked back at Chastity. "I meant as it isn't much too look better then Alex..almost everyone does, but if you want argue about how beautiful you are...go ahead, just makes you sound insecure." He grinned at her then looked back at Cora.
"So...weren't we going to leave?" He grinned.

"Play...thing?" Chastity couldn't speak for a full minute, "I am NOT his play thing! I am his LOVER. L-O-V-E-R." she crossed her arms, "And I am NOT insecure! I am just baffled that that toad's name would be mentioned in the same sentence as me!" she huffed. Then she realized that she was being ignored. She did not like being ignored. In fact, she liked making an impression so she slapped Dakota across the face before storming off toward the garden.
