Anti and the others entered Chimera and Anti looked around. It was a little too early for the usual crowd. Even though most supernaturals were unaffected by the sunlight (thanks to magic, or whatever else) many still preferred the night life. He was preferred it too, yet here he was.. not that he was complaining.
He put his hand on Brianna's back (far enough from her bottom to keep Gianna from ripping his head off) and escorted her to an empty booth.
"Ladies first," he said, gesturing for Brianna to scoot in, then he smiled at Gianna, "I hope you don't mind, but I'm going to sit next to her. No offense to Raphael or anything, but people tend to sit really close in the booth seats and I don't want people to get the wrong impression." He said.
He took his seat nestled beside Brianna, "You don't mind do you?" he asked, his eyes playful.

Raphael escorted Gianna to the table, in more of a old fashion, gentlemanly fashion. He felt women should be treated with as much respect as possible, and he refused to do anything that could be taken as bad taste. He could just tell that something was really special about Gianna and he was determined to treat her like the lovely lady that she was.
He watched Anti antagonize Gianna and shook his head. He knew that Anti didn't mean anything by his comments, and that he was just being humerous, but some of Anti's comments were in poor taste.Perhaps Raphael was a little old fashioned..
He offered a smile at Gianna, "I hope you don't mind sitting closely with me even though we have just begun getting to know each other." He said.

Gianna wasn't really paying attention to Anti and Brianna, but she did notice him putting his hand on her back. Lucky for him, it wasn't Bri's backside or Anti wouldn't have that hand anymore. Woah, there was that violent thought again...where was that coming from?
When Anti made his comment about the seating, Gianna chose not to take offense. From what she'd seen of him today, he seemed to be the sarcastic type. Also, he seemed to be honest. Gianna hadn't felt the "liar's twitch" yet. So she simply smiled and shot Brianna a look that told her that if she needed help, she was going to be right across from her.
She turned her full attention back to Raphael, "Oh, I don't mind at all," she grinned. In fact, she found herself a little excited about the close proximity, "I just hope that you don't mind."
After she slid into her spot at the booth, she took a look around the room, "Gosh, they don't have diners like this in the Midwest...at least none that I know of, "she laughed.

Raphael's normally slightly pale face turned slightly pink when he took his spot in the booth, and his arm brushed against Gianna. He smiled at Gianna, slightly embarrassed. "I don't mind, I can't imagine any man that would complain about being so close such a breathtaking woman." He said.
His face got even more heated and looked away for a moment, pretending to look around at the diner. He looked back at her. "Well, you may feel a little more home at the barbeque diner not that far from here. I promise to take you there sometime if you'd like." He said, turning back to look at Gianna.
"I suppose moving here is quite different from what you're use to in the Midwest, no?" he asked. "Change can be a good thing though, I know from experience."

Gianna's face also turned slightly pink when Raphael's arm brushed against her arm. Her mouth turned into a small smile, "Breathtaking, huh?" she'd never been described that way before. She sort of liked it.
She noticed that he was blushing, and she wanted to show that she didn't mind the compliments, "Well, I could say the same to you. Who would complain about being so close to a good-looking guy like you?" she felt her face heat up a little. She felt a little embarrassed saying that out loud...but she didn't regret saying it.
"I like trying new things, but that barbeque diner does sound intriguing," she tapped her chin with her nail, "I think I'd like to take you up on that offer...as long as it's not too much trouble."
"It is different being here. I'm not used to mountains. The closest to mountains that I've lived was a really large hill at my parent's house," she giggled, "I have to agree about the change thing though. If you can't accept change or at least...adapt to it, you can't really live life."
"So I hear that you're from Italy," Rebecca had told her and she could tell from his accent, "What part? Is it close to Rome?" she was looking right at him, her chin lightly resting on the back of her hand.

Raphael studied her a moment, he didn't know how to respond to her calling him good-looking. In truth, he was relatively new to the whole "dating" thing, since most of his life, as long as it was, was either in soltitude or in a monastery.
"Grazie Bella," Raphael said, almost forgetting his english for a moment. He found himself lost in her words as she spoke. She was so wise for someone her age, and he believed she had one of the most beautiful souls.
He found his eyes focused on her hand on which her chin rested. He wasn't sure why, perhaps it was that he wanted it to be his hand that was so close to her face, so close to carress it, or perhaps it was that he wanted to hold the hand that he was focused on. Either action was out of the question at this stage of the "relationship".
When he realized that she had asked him a question, he cleared his throat. "Si.. I mean, yes I am. I'm originally from Florence, but I was quite the traveller and have traveled to many lands." He answered.

Post by Pepper Winthrop on Jun 5, 2012 21:48:41 GMT -5
Pepper had barely finished tying her apron on when one of the other servers told her that one of her tables was occupied, "Thanks!" she called after her fellow waitress before walking out of the kitchen.
When she saw who all was at the table, she had to stop for a second. She saw Raphael, Anti, and two other girls. The girl sitting next to Anti had long brown hair and BIG brown eyes. She seemed as playful as Anti. The girl sitting next to Raphael (gosh was she jealous of this girl!) had much shorter hair, cut shorter in the back than it was in the front. The hair was still brown, but it was sort of a blackish brown. She thought that this girl also had brown eyes. She was a beauty, that was for sure. But she was an Adamite.
What would Raphael want with an Adamite? Pepper knew her thoughts sounded petty, but she couldn't help it. Raphael was just SO gorgeous! Darn her and Raphael's age difference!!!
She had to put away her jealous thoughts for a bit though since she had to take their order. So she walked up to the table with her usual cheerfulness (on the outside at least)
"Hello! I'm Pepper, and I'll be your waitress today," she made a point of smiling at the girl sitting next to Raphael, hoping that it didn't look like a snarl (the bad thing about being a lycan). She also smiled at the other girl, "Can I start you guys out with some drinks?" she was going to get through this. That's right. She was going to be happy for Raphael.
Now she wanted to tell Nyx and Bree...but where were they???

Brianna was doing what she would normally do in a new place, look around and be amused. She was almost too wrapped up with the surroundings that she might not have noticed Anti putting his hand on her back, but she did. As a result, she shivered slightly, something about people touching her back made her nervous and looked up at Anti. She was going to ask him to remove his hand when the had reached their seats and now she had saw the lighting strike eye contact between Anti and Gi.
Brianna giggled at this and just slid into the booth. When she saw Anti get rather close she just snickered at his comment. "Well, even if it did bother me, you kinda already did so...but....." She said leaned on him. "You are now a head rest." She laughed.
Once the seating arrangement was selected, she got crazy vibes of romance from Raphael and Gianna. So much so, that she almost felt like it was effecting her, just by some of her thoughts she was starting to have, like actually laying her head on Anti's shoulder. However, she shook the thoughts off and just gave a sly smile to Gi, pretty much telling her that she was in for it when they got home.
Then this girl came up, and her jealous emotions were threw the roof! She looked over at Raphael and then at Pepper and wanted to glare. Did Raphael woo another girl and is now trying to do the same to her cousin??? This will be a question she'll have to ask later..who? She didn't know. When it came to got drinks first, she just smiled at Gi and said "Age before beauty." Though she didn't mean that at all, Gi knew that.

Annabelle walked in and looked to see a group of people already in there. She then looked up at Nate and laughed nervously. "Well...looks like we will never be able to go out on our own.." She commented then looked around for a seat. If anything, she wanted to sit as far away from the other group as possible. Not that she didn't like them or anything...she just wanted Nate to herself, though that sounded selfish to her.
She didn't want to sit too close to the doors due to the fact that is still cold outside. Oh, there was a booth that was far enough away from the doors and also far away from the other group. She pointed towards the table and smiled at Nate.
"Could we please sit there? ...I really would rather just have all my attention on you.." She smiled.

Gianna had to admit that she loved loved loved it when Raphael slipped into Italian. It was a plus, too, when she found that she could make out what he was saying because of the amount of French she knew.
"Florence? That's a really pretty part of Italy -so I've heard," her smile got a little bigger for a second, "I've never been to Italy myself, so I can only go by pictures or what other people tell me. So I think it's really cool that you've traveled around a lot. You should tell me about some of these places sometime."
She noticed Brianna's "You're gonna get it" look. She shot it right back at Brianna, taking note of the way she was leaning her head on Anti.
Then a cute teenager with reddish brown hair walked up to the table and asked for a drink order. This girl seemed to take particular pains to smile at her, but Gianna didn't think anything of it. Perhaps Pepper was having a bad day or something. She seemed cheerful enough, "Haha," she drawled at Brianna, "Alright, the your senior of three months and a day shall go before thee then," her eyes were amused, "I'll just have water, please," she told Pepper.

Grapha allowed Szayel and Riley to go first. On the way to the restaurant, Grapha decided he didn't like the town. It was too big and too modern. Yeah, it was a pretty sight, but it was just a bit too much. Especially the loud, rumbling cars. Grapha prefered his feet and dragon riding. And horses, if anything but himself and Odahviing. However, when he walked into the restaurant, it wasn't that bad. Victorean was pretty classic. Not as old as Grapha was used to, but classic. The restaurant seemed nice. Szayel led them to a table away from the other guests, seeing that computer geek with people, as well as Nathaniel and Annabelle. He wanted to avoid intrusion on anyone's dates, but he also would hate to be noticed and invited over.

"I'd love to tell you about some of the places sometime, as long as I didn't bore you with my reminiscing, and all of Italy is a beautiful place.. the history speaks so loud through so much of it." he said, smiling, "And you should definately go there sometime. I think any artist should go to Italy at least once and walk in the footsteps of the masters."
When Pepper arrived to take their drink order, he smiled warmly at her but waited until the cousins were finished before he spoke.
"Oh hello Pepper, it's very nice to see you here. I wasn't aware that you worked here.. but it's a pleasant surprise. You're personality is well suited for waitressing, serving sunshine with every order." He said, meaning every word of it, then he looked at Gianna, "This is Pepper, she's a very gifted student of mine." He informed.
Then he turned back to Pepper, "I'll also have a water, please?" He said.

Anti looked down at Brianna's head on his shoulder in an amused fashion, and after placing his order for a soda, he twisted his neck to look back at Brianna, his eyebrow raised and a sideways grin on his face.
"Enjoying the headrest, are you? I have to warn you, I dont let many people get that close.. it may cost you.. say, one fact about you. So tell me something." He said, wiggling his shoulder that her head was propped on in a playful fashion.

Nate didn't really bother to send even a glance in the direction of the group. His full attention was on Annabelle. He took the seat opposite of her, but took her hand over the table.
"Anywhere would be perfect as long as we were sitting together." he said, smiling at her, but the smile was conflicted, and soon it faded to nearly nonexistant.
"We need to talk Belle, and if it's not done now, then it will only have to be done later. Neah would say that sooner is better than later and that it's best to get it over with, and so that's what I'm going to do. When I found out about that... man, and about you going out by yourself to face him.. I was frightened. I've already lost nearly everyone that I've ever loved, and I'm not sure that I can survive losing anyone else. From now on, if you find yourself in that same kind of predicament, tell me. Okay? Don't keep something like this away from me." he said, carressing her hand with his thumb. He had made sure to keep his voice low, even though the supernaturals may have heard it.

Riley looked around, taking in every detail of the restaurant. Right now there wasn't much difference between this place and other restaurants, well other than the decor. She took a seat at a table with chairs instead of a booth, she wasn't prepared to be extremely close to either male, preferring her own space.
"It is beautiful in here," she said, then she smiled slightly at Szayel, "Thank you for bringing us here."
