Jordan smiled just a fraction, but more than most people have seen on him. "Of course I liked your cooking. It was excellent." When she hugged him though, it not so much left his face as flustered him and returned the blush to his cheeks. He cursed himself for being so bad with women, only getting half through it before she asked what he would like.
He thought for a moment, wondering what she knew how to cook, and decided on something simple. "Surprise me. Unlike my siblings, I'm not a picky eater." he smiled a bit to himself and even chuckled, knowing Alona heard that comment, and possible Taylor. Ahh, sibling love.

Alona was just about to say something to Jordan about his comment about her and Taylor being picky eaters, but she didn't manage to say anything before spotting a reaaally cute Lycan guy coming over to their table. Damn! she thought. He is REALLY cute. I wonder who he is... She loved how her brother and Keira were getting on, but it seems this guy didn't so much, as he went over to Keira to hit on her.
Alona knew Keira was gorgeous, and honestly, she wished she were HALF as pretty. She never felt very pretty, herself, even though she had been told otherwise, because she was always fighting or coming home injured from Logan. At the moment, though, she was half glad and half not that only parts of her bandaged injuries were showing. She WAS curious, though, as to what Keira or Jordan would do about this new Lycan.

Keria couldn't help but love Jordan's smile. "Do me a favor...smile more often...it looks really good on you." She said in a very soft, yet flirty voice. She then nodded her head to him saying he would like whatever she made. That was when she saw the guy trying to get her attention.
She was use to this, too use to it actually. She thought it was almost sad on how guys would try to get her attention, some so much that they would fight over her. There was something different with this guy though...he smelled like....Pepper???
She couldn't help but smile at the guy as well and put her hand out, giving him the option to take it.
"I'll keep that in mind..and good ice breaker by the way. Now, mind telling me your name...?" She smirked.

Ulrich had a wide grin. He wouldn't be surprised in the least if the red head had a lot of experience with cheesy icebreakers like the one he just pulled. She had an air about her that told him that she knew that she was pretty.
When she offered her hand, he took it in both of his. He considered kissing her hand, too, but thought that that may be too forward at this point...although he was really tempted to do so. Then he shrugged at her compliment on his opening line, "Ah, I try," he winked.
"Ah yes, my name," his smile returned, "I'm Ulrich Winthrop. Family calls me 'Rick' though. And what would your name be, my lady?"

Jordan had noticed this Ulrich guy, but he didn't comment on anything. He seemed another guy like Taylor, one who could outshine him easily with personality and a way with women, though he would never admit it out loud. |He wondered about Keira, and even felt somewhat protective over her, though he knew they weren't anything yet, just conversing.
He looked at Ulrich, who obviously hadn't noticed him, and observed, even clearing his throat a bit to get his attention. Alona was kind of curious as to what would happen, as she had never seen Jordan like this, so who could tell. She continued to watch.

"Ah...I just knew you had some of Pepper in you...you have the same spunk in you...I like it." She winked at him and took her hand back. "My name is Keira Reed by the way, and it's nice to meet you, Rick." She smiled in a very flirtatious way.
She then heard Jordan clear his throat and looked back at him. He was going to have to try harder then that to keep her attention, but it got it for the moment. "Yes, is something the matter?" She asked politely.

"You know my cousin?" he tilted his head in a similar manner as Pepper, "Pepper sure does have the Winthrop spunk. That's why I call her Chile Pepper," he laughed.
"Keira Reed...that's a pretty name. Has an almost exotic flavor to it," he tapped his chin, "You know, I think I remember Pepper telling me about you a few times. You sound exciting." He would have said more to Keira, even wanting to go as far as asking her out or something when he heard someone clear his throat.
He turned his head to see another male. He raised an eyebrow, curious, "Yes?" he said at the same time Keira did. He snickered. He could tell from the way she was talking that Keira and the other one were not together, "I'm sorry, am I interrupting something?" he added that to make sure that she wasn't taken.

Alex had been tenderly running her finger against the rim of her wine glass as she gazed into Micah's beautiful eyes. She felt like the luckiest woman in the world. What more could she ask for? She was dining with a handsome man. And not just a handsome man, a handsome, rich man!
She tore her gaze away from Micah and glared at Pepper. How DARE she interrupt her from her loving thoughts on the rich guy that she had designs on??? At first, she was going to snap at Pepper, but then she remembered something very, very important: Never EVER get on the bad side of the person who was handling your food.
Still glaring, she said, "The wine tastes fantastic," she lovingly gazed at Micah again, "Does your drink taste alright?"

Neah thought about what Dakota said for a moment, "Yes, alot of the older hunters, and I guess some of the young ones too, are really big on the whole 'keeping our bloodline pure' thing. But I'm sure once they get to know you, then they'll warm up to you. Until then, don't take it personal.. besides, I think most of them know that if they don't keep their opinions to themselves, Nate will rip their arms off and beat them over the head with them." she said, only slightly joking.
She was impressed when Dakota and Szayel made a truce. She patted both of them on the shoulder, "That's what I like to see!" She said.
"So," she said, turning to Grapha, "are you ready to head that way?" She asked, "and Cousin dear, would you like to accompany us?" She asked.

Micah had been zoning out, well actually he had been extremely focused on Neah. He may not have been looking at her, but he could hear almost everything that was going on around her, as well as just a tiny bit of her heartbeat if he was only focused on her. These were gifts that he obtained as long as he continued feeding off of vampire blood.
Consuming the vampire blood also had other side effects, ones that would have troubled someone other than Micah, you see, by drinking vampire blood Micah not only received almost vampiric senses, speed, and strength.. but it also gave him a craving for blood just as a real vampire. He supposed that it also brought out a more vampiric look to his appearance as well, but only a subtle one.
Focusing on Neah, and hearing her heartbeat fast even though he could tell by her breathing that she was trying to stay calm, it made Micah satisfied.. though he would prefer to torture her brother more than her. He was savoring her angst. This is why he didn't even hear Pepper approach, but he did hear Alex speak.
Micah blinked and gave a slightly sheepish grin to Alex, "Hm? Oh yes.. my drink is quite lovely." he said to Pepper, though he kept his eyes on Alex.
"Please forgive me for checking out for a moment, I was just thinking of how beautiful your eyes are. They remind me of beautiful saphires, and that made me realize what an elegant woman you really are." he said. He ran his fingers through his hair as if he were embarrassed by what he had just said.

Alex let out something that sounded like a mixture between a cackle and a creepy giggle, "Oh Micah!" she affectionately hit his arm, "I've never been called ELEGANT before," she liked the sound of that. Elegant Alexandra! She would have to put that on a business card should she choose to invest in some. "And they look like sapphires?" she did the giggle thing again, "Like expensive gems. I love it!" she was so pleased with the compliments that she did not even think to compliment him in return.

Anti waited until the cousins took their leave, soon followed by Raphael who said something about having tests to grade or something, and turned his attention to Alex and some hunter guy. He knew they were on some kind of date and he was trying to decide if he should interupt to discuss business with Alex.
A small part of him thought that maybe what he had to say could wait until tomorrow, but if he did that then he'd have to go to the castle tomorrow.. and some of the castle dwellers really freaked him out. So which did he cherish more? Alex's happiness during her date, or his own comfort level? His own comfort level of course, and besides.. Alex wouldn't mind the interuption once he informed her that he may have found something that she had wanted, and that it probably wouldn't cost her much money.
He walked over to Alex's table, and smiled apologetically to the man who frowned and watched him carefully. Anti then squatted down close to Alex (but not too close) so that he could comfortably talk to her.
"Please forgive me for the interuption Ma'lady, but I wanted to let you know that I think I've come across the answer to your desire to re-decorate the ballroom. There's a young lady that just moved here who happens to be a talented artist, and I think that she'd probably jump at the idea to help you. An amateur artist is much cheaper than a professional, and since she is new to town, I'm sure that she would see this as an opportunity to make an impression." he informed.

Grapha looked up at Neah. "Huh? Oh, yeah, I guess." Grapha stood and held his hand out to help Riley up, just like he was taught to for good manners. "It was nice hanging out with you, but I think I have to go."
Szayel nodded his head at Dakota's truce offering. Although, when Neah patted his back, he couldn't help but look at Neah wearily.

Alex shot Anti an annoyed look for interrupting her date. When he told her his bit of news, however, she grinned at him.
Alex had been looking for an artist that would work either for free or for a low price for quite some time. The ballroom was fixed now, but the walls were a boring solid white. Not the glorious patterns that it once had. Sure, Alex was a major penny-pincher, but that didn't mean that she didn't like the castle being decorated like it should be.
"Anti! Good job," she almost pinched his cheek like an over-affectionate aunt, "How soon can I get her to do the job? Can you arrange it for me, dear? This is most pleasing. Micah, Anti here is so good at finding people to do things for me. I don't know what I'd do without him!" she did the giggle thing again.

Micah watched with little interest as Anti and Alex spoke. He offered a smile and a nod when Alex explained to him what Anti did for her.
Anti looked over at him, and he felt like Anti was summing him up and trying to decide something. Then Anti offered his hand, "Good to meet you, Micah was it? I'm Anti." He said. Micah shook his hand, "Good to meet you too. So you're some kind of errand runner?" Micah asked.
Anti grinned, "Something like that. I have a way of getting anything that you need or want, here.. take my card. If there's anything I can do for you, just give me a call." Anti said and handed Micah a card. Micah took it and put it in his wallet, he didn't know if he'd need it or not, but it could come in handy.
Anti then turned back to Alex and offered her the same slightly charming smile that he had given Micah. "I'll probably be seeing her again tomorrow and if she's available, then I could probably arrange for you to atleast speak to her by the end of this week. We'll go from there. I haven't actually seen any of her work yet, but I get a good vibe from her." He explained.
Micah was studying Anti the whole time, taking ocassional sips from his drink.
