Eh, this converstation was starting to get kind of sweet for his taste...but he answered her anyways. His voice showed that he didn't really want to talk about it.
"Yeah, he's been looking for that long," he eyed the door, "As for why he left her...there's just some things you have to know about his history," he shifted uncomfortably. He seriously considered making her not care so much, "He ah," how could he make it brief? "We both liked to play around with women, if you catch my drift," he ran his tongue alone the bottom of his teeth, "You could say he was in denial about how he felt about Alavda. I knew better though," he laughed, knowing the full extent of how his friend of several hundred years felt, "I think he was trying to prove something to himself."

Annabelle saw how the room once again felt tense. She was about to ask him not to proceed, but he had already done so. As she listened, her eyes widened slightly. How could the guy that seemed so cold-hearted actually sincerely care for Ala. She had a feeling this guy wasn't lying to her though, the room won't be as tense if he was.
"Wow...well, I see this conversation isn't to your liking, so I'll switch the subject for you." She stated, not knowing if the next subject matter was best or not.
"Since I have asked you so many questions, why don't you ask one yourself..well, other then about Alavda." She smiled.

Bladen felt her confusion, "Interesting, innit?"
"I don't 'ave anything that I want to ask you, darlin'," he stood up, "I 'ave to get goin' anyways. 'Ave a good day, Belle. I'm sure that you'll see me again," he opened the door and walked through it.

Annabelle just nodded her head at his comment then looked even more confused when Bladen said he had nothing to ask. For someone who like messing with emotions, she was pretty much letting him set her up to do so, but he didn't take it...what gives?
However, just smiled and waved. "Alright, it was really nice to meet you Bladen..and I really do hope to see you again soon. Please, be careful with the amount of alcohol you consume.." She plesently replied.
As he walked out the door and closed it, Belle went over to the couch and laid on it.
"Thomas wanted to find Ala? ...He actually still has feelings for her? That's unbelievable.." She stated, then notice if Nate really was going to meet up with her later, he still wouldn't have eaten. She thought for a second.
"I can't bake..so the pizza would burn...I think we have spaghetti in this house..." She said to herself and got up to look for the pasta she thought she had in the house.

Nate would have made it to Belle's house earlier, but he had stopped to grab some flowers. He rang the doorbell and stood patiently while he waited for her to come to the door.
He went over in his head what he should say to her. He really should get his temper into check.

Annabelle had just finished cooking when she heard the doorbell ring. She knew it was going to have to be either the guy from earlier, or Nate, though she was strongly hoping it was Nate.
She walked over to the door and opened it, smiling up at who she was hoping it would be and hugging him tightly.
"I'm glad you actually came to my house. And sorry for leaving earlier. It was nothing you were doing, I just couldn't take anymore fighting or yelling today...and..well..I kind of just wanted you to myself..is that bad?" She asked then let him go and backed up slowly.
"Oh..and um...I didn't know if you were going to say at the restaurant till the food order arrived..so I made you something...but I can't promise it will be fantastic.." She said then walked back into the kitchen and came back out with a plate of spaghetti and smiled at Nate.
"I tried to make it rather good, I think it is at least...as I said, I don't know if you had actually ate....but, surprise!" She giggled as she set it down on the table that was next to her.

"No.. I understand. And I wanted to have an evening with you by myself as well. I shouldn't have let the idea of Neah on a date interupt our night, and I guess there would have been better ways to deal with that guy from the hospital.. Can we forget all of that happened and just start over?" He asked.
When Annabelle brought the spaghetti to the table, Nate sat down and smelled it, "It looks incredible, I'm sure that it's amazing, because I can't imagine anything you've created being anything less than amazing." He said, leaning over to kiss Annabelle's lips.
"Oh here, I got you these. I hope you like them." He said, handing her the flowers.

Annabelle wanted to protest the part about him hitting Brenden, because truthfully, she was rather glad he did, but instead just nodded her head.
"Sure, we can start over, but only from afterschool...because I want to keep my memory of that dodgeball game." She smirked and then listened as Nate complemented her cooking. When he kissed her, she happily kissed him back, or at least as quickly as she could before he pulled away to hand her the flowers he got her.
Her eyes sparkled as she took the flowers and took a good breath in order to get all of the aromas that would come off of each flower. As she thought, they smelled wonderful. "Nate, thank you so much for getting these for me..they are beautiful..." She commented then looked around her house.
"I uh...I'm not quite sure though if I have a vase..oh Ala probably does...I'll have to ask her were it is when she gets back." She stated then looked at Nate and kissed his lips properly, even getting up on her tip toes and placing a hand on his cheek.
"Thank you again...so..um..please, make yourself at home ok? And...since you are here, is there anything you would like? You are a guest after all." She smiled widely.

Nate grinned and wrapped his arms around her before she could pull away after kissing him. He returned the kiss to her lips and held her close.
"The only thing that I would like to have is your company, so as long as I have you.. I can't think of anything else that I want..." he said, his voice slightly husky.
After holding her for a few more minutes, he let go of her, but took her hand gently and led her back to where he had been sitting so that she could sit with him. "But it would be rude to let such a wonderful meal go to waste.. please, won't you eat with me?" He asked.
He took the fork in his hand and spun it around in the spaghetti in order to get a small bite on the fork and held it up to Belle's mouth.

Now this was the day Annabelle wanted to have with Nate. Just him and her, without anyone there to take either of their attention away from one another. Heck, she was even able to blush like she use to without feeling like anyone was randomly going to come around the corner and fangirl over the two. It was nice.
She smiled and nodded her head as Nate asked her if she would eat with him and took the bite once Nate brought it up to her. She once again was feeling like a princess, but he always seemed to have that effect on her. Now, all she was hoping was that he would actually like her cooking. She thought it was pretty good, but her own opinion didn't matter much to her.

After Belle took the bite that Nate offered, he took a bite himself. He closed his eyes so that he could savor the taste. After he swallowed the food, he opened his eyes and smiled at her, "This is amazing.. you really are a terrific cook." He said, leaning over and kissing her on the cheek.
He got another bite and offered it to Annabelle, "So where did you learn to cook? Neah does all of the cooking for us, I'm afraid that I'm at a total loss in the kitchen. Infact, Neah never lets me into the kitchen after a certain fiasco that took place when I tried to make her breakfast..." he said.

Annabelle waited just to see how Nate would react to her cooking and when she saw it was a great reaction, she smiled and let out a happy sigh. "I'm glad you think so, though I think I probably could have added something else to it, though." She then took the other bite Nate offered and after swallowing she thought about his question and giggled slightly at his experience.
"Well, truthfully, boiling with about the best kind of cooking I can do, had to boil rice a lot while running for 10 years...that and I have been watching how Ala cooks. I do have to say though...Alavda won't let me use the oven..I burn anything I bake..I don't know why. That is why it was spaghetti and not pizza." She laughed, rubbing the back of her neck out of nervousness.
"And your sister cooks? Sorry, I guess I just don't completely understand the whole thing about where you live here. I know you live in a headquarters...but that is it, I don't really know what goes on in there. And probably for good reasons." She rambled on. She did always wonder about what was inside that place, ever since Neah brought it up all those months ago.

"Well, Neah learned to cook when we were growing up because our parents were always busy with missions or council stuff. We had staff but Neah enjoyed being in the kitchen watching Cook and she picked up everything. Now that we live here, there's no staff so we have to do everything on our own. Living here in Shadow Peak at the church is very different than where we grew up. It's a decent size but still smaller than our old home... but I'm grateful for them taking us in." He said.
He took another bite of the spaghetti, "I'll have to okay it, but maybe one day you can come check it out. It's not forbidden for other supernaturals to enter the church, but it doesn't happen very often.. unless you're on the list of approved." He said, "Hunters are pretty secretive and some sort of.. frown upon non-hunters." He said.
"Alavda and you seem to get along very well, I think it's good for both of you to have each other.. kind of like sisters." He said.

"...You had people cooking for you? It sounded like you had a nice living where you were. Wait..there was a staff where you were?" Annabelle asked, laying her cheek against her hand in a very curious manner. She also couldn't help but smile knowing he was happy he was here.
"That would be great...I hope it's not too much of a hassle for you. Would it make them feel any better if I promised I wouldn't break anything?" She giggled slightly then nodded her head at his comment about her and Ala being like sisters.
"You know, it's almost like that..except that we aren't. We are actually two completely separate people. We just get along so well because neither one of us poke into one another business...well, at least we make sure the other one doesn't know if we do." Belle stated and put a finger over her lips, "But you didn't hear that from me." She finished and giggled more.

"I understand, atleast I think I do.. I don't have to tell you how things are between Neah and I.. we're constantly in each other's business, but we're still two seperate people. What I meant is that you two seem to really get each other. You know, the whole accepting the good with the bad. It's rare to find someone who will accept you to such an extent. Though, I would accept all of you as well, but you don't really have any bad aspects." He said, smiling.
Nate offered Belle another bite of the spaghetti, "And yes, I loved it there.. it was beautiful, and I may go back sometime.. not to live, but to visit. Now though, I'd much rather focus on the present and the future here.."
