Tyler was too distracted by studying the room to notice that he had wandered toward the stage. He liked that the roses were different colors and not just a Heather pink.
His pondering of the room was rudely uninterrupted when something hard hit him on the head, "Ow!" he cried out, managing to snatch the offending item before it hit the ground, "A mic?" he rubbed his head.
He looked up to see an apologetic red head, "I'm alright," he grinned at her, "Takes a little more than a runaway microphone to crack my thick skull!" he tapped a knuckle on his head, his grin still on his face, "Or maybe the mic is a girl and threw herself at me," he said half seriously.

Jessa let out a small shreak when someone covered her eyes from behind. "Guess who?" the person said, and that is when she relaxed a small bit. She put her hand on top of Nick's.
"Hey you, I was worried you couldn't come. I'm happy to see you." She said. She waited until he moved his hands, and then turned around to look at him. She was really happy that he was willing to accept Cora being with them.
"So what do you think of this place? It's very pretty isn't it?" She asked Nick, who received a smile from Cora.

Riley nodded slightly, she could tell that Gianna was a little sad that Raphael wasn't here. She then had an idea and pulled out her cellphone and smiled.
"Well, just because he's not here right now doesn't mean he should miss a thing. I've got an idea!" She said. She pushed the button to record a video on her phone and then began recording herself talking while moving the phone camera around to where everything would be captured.
"Hi Raphael, this is Riley! I just thought that you should see what a fiine job Gianna did on this party.. doesn't it look aahmazing? I knew you'd probably be sad about missing her big debut, just like she got a little gloomy too when I opened my big ole' mouth and asked about you being here.. see, here she is.." she said, and then turned so that Gianna was now in view of the camera. "Doesn't she look real pretty tonight? You're missin' out buddy, lemme tell ya. You'll be lucky if some love struck guy doesn't come along and sweep her off her feet while you ain't lookin'." She said and giggled.
She stopped recording after she went around a little bit more, recording every detail of the decorations. She closed her phone and put it away, "I'll send it to him in a little bit, if you don't mind I mean." She said, a devious glint in her eye.

Jacob chuckled and patted Roy on his back, "We both are amazing, no?" he said. He then let out a whistle when Joy approached the two of them.
"Wow, Jillian you are very pretty looking. Roy is being a very lucky person." He said.

Just as Gianna was about to ask Riley what she meant, the girl had whipped out her cell phone. Gianna's eyes widened, a nervous grin played around the edges of her mouth. She had a strange feeling that she knew exactly what Riley was about to do.
Gianna full out grinned when Riley turned the camera on her. She felt almost shy at this. This didn't stop her from striking a pose and bursting out in a fit of nervous giggles.
After Riley put the phone away, Gianna laughed, "I don't mind at all," she said, "I have a feeling that I wouldn't be able to stop you even if I said no, anyways. Like your dress, by the way."

Roy stood in awe of Jill. He was too nervous to speak to her. What could he say to her? She looked so nice...not that he didn't look dashing in his sweater vest, of course. Roy had put some careful thought into what her would wear just in case Jill ended up going to the stupid party.
But he found that he was unable to speak to her. In the end, he waved nervously and then hid himself behind Jacob.

Jak had a big mouthful of punch when he saw Sabine drop the mic. He almost spit it out all over the table both from laughing and freaking out. That stuff's expensive! Once he saw nothing in pieces (except maybe Sabine's ego, if she had one) he slid on over to see his cousin up front.
"Hey, Heather. Thanks again for lettin' the band play. You know we don't really play that much new stuff, right?"

"No other girl could compare to you, Belle. The only other girl that I even notice is Neah, all the others just desolve into the background." He said, his voice completely earnest. But then he smiled slightly and glanced at Dakota.
"I apologize for our delay, Dakota took a while to perfect his look. Didn't you say it took you a while to look that good Cousin?" He asked, calling over to Dakota while grinning.
He then remembered something and pulled a small box out of his jacket pocket, "Ah, I almost forgot, I got something for you, il mio amore." he said. He opened the box.
Inside the box was a silver bracelette. It was enscribed on the inside with "Sempre con voi nello spirito se non nel corpo".
"Please accept this as a graduation present, and as a way to remember me while we're apart during the day once school is back in.. but I plan on making this a summer that neither of us will forget." he said.

Heather looked around and made a face, "I know, Joya, like.. I totally know. But Daddy thought it would be a good idea to throw the party for all of our Graduating class, and that included all the losers and their friends.. but atleast we're here to even out the score." She said, and gave a smile.
"And besides, like, maybe I can claim this is charity work and put it on my college application." She said and laughed, which she cut short when Jak walked up to them.
She smiled slightly, "Oh, like I didn't offer you the job. Anti was in charge of all that stuff, but like, you are pretty talented so I know you'll do a good job. Right Joya?" She said.

Neah shrugged her shoulders and grinned, "No one really.. can't a girl dress up without trying to impress a guy? I mean, it's not like many guys are rushing to ask me to dance any way. Most of them are scared away by either Nate or you.. I'll be lucky if I even get asked out on a date this summer." Neah answered and pretended to pout.
"Totally unrelated, did you happen to hear about whether or not Adam and Sage were coming to the party?" She asked.

Sabine laughed at Tyler's comment about his head, "Well that's good to hear. Maybe coming tonight wasn't a good idea, I could have stayed at home and read latest volume of Naruto.." she said, half to Tyler and half to herself.
She laughed even more when Tyler said the mic could be a girl, "You know, it could totally be.. wow, you're a lady magnet." She said and laughed once more.

Sage was almost dragged into the nightclub by his brother, "Come on Sage!" Adam laughed as he pushed the door open, "Where'd your sense of fun go?"
Sage didn't answer Adam. Instead, he let Adam drag him into the nightclub, "You seem awfully excited to be going. Are you meeting with Lyla again? Or did she wise up and dump you?" a corner of Sage's mouth lifted into a small smile.
"Nope," Adam chirped, "We're meeting up here," he gave his brother an evil smirk, "I'm surprised that YOU'RE not more excited. Neah's going to be here," yes, Adam knew of how Sage felt about Neah. But how to get him to act on his feelings? Adam remembered that a few years ago, before Sage hurt himself, that his brother was a lot more impulsive and outgoing.

Riley laughed when Gianna said she probably couldn't stop her anyway, "You know, you may just be right about that," she said. She had to admit, she was really warming up to some of the people in Shadow Peak.
"What, this ole thing? Thanks so much, I feel a little plain compared to some of the other people here though, most of them look like they just stepped off of a magazine page. You always look beautiful, but I bet you hear that all the time." She said.

Tyler froze when she mentioned Naruto. He loved that manga!
Should he let her know? Would that make him seem too uncool? His family highly discouraged the reading of comics in favor of playing sports...but he liked manga...
"It was a good chapter," he tried to sound nonchalant about it.

Gianna laughed shyly when Riley said that she must be told that she was beautiful a lot, "Thanks. I mostly hear stylish though."
"Mmmm..." Gianna grinned, "So...I see you and that Grapha guy hang out a lot. What's the story?"
