Weekend Visit to the Cove

[Nick Hampton]

"I-I don't think I'm that clever.." He says towards Alavda, he didn't really know if she meant that or if she was saying that just to seem that way to please her friend. He then felt water hit him and he looked over at Jak.

"Hey! We aren't even in the water yet!" He says and acted as if he was getting mad but smiled afterwards. "You ready to get in the water?" He said and smiled at Jessa.

[Bree Aldertree]

Bree snuck up behind Jak after he resurfaced and bit her lip so that she wouldn't laugh. Right before he registered that she was there, she jumped up on his shoulders and pushed his head under the water.

She then helped pull him back up and she was laughing extremely hard.

[Alavda Noir]

"Well, I'm thinking that she can change the shape of people or things because she did something similar yesterday with some strange woman...or was it a man?"

She turned to Nick, "Oh, don't be so modest!" she actually did ruffle his hair then, and was about to say something else when she was splashed by water. Her reaction was similar to Jessa's when she squeaked. She looked over at Jessa and immediately started to laugh.

"Mm, yeah, getting in the water sounds good," she said, even though the question wasn't really directed at her.

[Annabelle Ventus]

Annabelle's face turned completely red when Nate kissed her forehead, but she managed to smile at him. She laughed when he said that Bree was rubbing off on her. "Well, I could have done much worse..anyways, I don't think you are in the right attire to swim, I'll be back I'm gonna go change and get in the water with you guys." She said and walked to where she saw Neah laying on the ground. She poked her slightly.

"Hey, are you wanting to join us? We were planning on swimming...I'll be right back to find out if you are or not." She said then kept walking to where there was enough cover and simply just took off her dress. She walked back out and walked over to Neah and sat on the ground to wait for her response.

[Jessa Johanson]

She giggled with Alavda then smiled at Nick, "You are pretty clever," She said and poked him again, just barely.

She then looked at the water and back at Nick. "I guess we may as well.. I mean, I'm all wet. I just hope its not too cold." She said.

She quickly braided her long brown hair and then pulled off her sundress that she was wearing over her bathing suit and folded it nicely and sat it on a rock a little bit away. She stepped into the water a little at a time and giggled slightly at how cold it was on her skin.

When she was alittle over waist deep, she did a flip in the water to get her whole body wet, in order to get use to the temperature. When she came back up, she had her hands raised like she had just done something to win an olympic gold medal. She quickly put her arms down and smiled at Nick, Alavda, and Aralynn.

"It feels really nice actually once you get use to it." She said.

[Neah Brightmore]

Neah looked up at Annabelle when she returned, a lazy smile on her face. "Hey! Oh yeah.. I'll get in the water in a little bit." She said.

She closed her eyes once more and covered them with her arm. She was like that for a few more seconds until she felt someone pick her up. She quickly opened her eyes and saw that the culprit was her twin brother, who had just changed into his swim trunks.

Neah squealed just like she had heard a few of the others do earlier, and begged Nate to put her down, "Oh I will," He had said and within seconds she was in the air and landing right into the water.

"Not what I meant!" Neah called out.

[Nick Hampton]

Nick smiled at Jessa. He loved her playful personality, it was quite comforting and pleasant.

"Well, don't wait for me then" He says and takes off his shirt and slides his pants off, which would normally be a bad idea...if he wasn't wearing his swim trunks under his pants.

He walked in about as slowly as he could that way every part of his body would for sure be warmed up by the time he got to her.

"Your right, it's not that bad at all" He says and smiles cheerfully at Jessa.

[Alavda Noir]

Alavda decided to follow suit and took off her own sundress that covered her bathing suit. However, she didn't neatly fold it up, she just sort of folded it really quick before making her way to the water, "It's not to bad, you say?" she got in about ankle deep, "So far so good..." she said to herself before she made herself get in about waist deep, "You're right...not too bad," she smiled.

[Annabelle Ventus]

Annabelle saw Nate come towards them and didn't help Neah in this situation, not that she didn't want to, it's just that when she saw Nate in his swim trunks she had to look away so that no one could see how red she was getting.

She looked back over though when see heard Neah scream and laughed slightly. She walked over to Nate and put her hand on his shoulder.

"And you say Bree's rubbing off on me..looks like no one can escape her mischievous grasp."

[Jessa Johanson]

Jessa reached out her hand and grabbed Nick's and pulled him further into the water, She then put her hands on his shoulders and smiled sweetly, "Its actually easier to get use to it if you go the whole way under," she said, her eyes shining playfully. She was really thinking of dunking him, but couldn't decide if he'd think it were funny or not.

"Are you glad you came?" She asked instead, moving one of her hands.

[Bree Aldertree]

Bree saw Jessa and Nick, and how Jessa had her hands on Nick's shoulders.. the way that she was looking at him so intently. She grinned and then let out a cat call whistle.

"Are you thinking about kissing him?" Bree called over to them.

This caused Jessa to turn a bright red and she quickly turned to look at Bree, she opened her mouth to say something but couldn't think of anything to say. So instead, she splashed her. Bree giggled.

[Nick Hampton]

Nick quickly shivered when Jessa dragged him towards the water before he was ready for it, but noticed that his body adapted to it, just like she said.

"Hehe I guess you're right!" He says and dunks himself in before she could do it to him. He could tell she was tempted to do so why not. When he came back up, he looked at her and smiled at her question.

"Yes, I'm very glad I came, it's better then being at my house or alone in the bookstore that's for sure.." He says with a nervous laugh. He then turns bright red when he hears Bree's comment and splashes her. He then smiles, not only because he felt better, but because it's fun in general to splash people.

[Nate Brightmore]

Nate smiled at Annabelle, "I guess she does rub off on those around her.. maybe its not quite a bad thing. Just make sure to lock me in an asylum if I ever talk about dying my hair purple, alright?" He asked and winked.

He then slid into the water, and took Annabelle's hand in his and pulled her in a little at a time.

[Annabelle Ventus]

Annabelle smiles at Nate. "I'll try to remember that" She says and when she sees him slowly walking her in, another idea popped into her head. She walked fast towards him and pushed him in completely and stood there, waiting for him to get back at her. But before he could do so she got a good laugh in.

[Elliot Hampton]

Elliot had saw everyone getting into the water, though he wasn't quite sure he wanted to get in yet. He did however change into just his swim trunks, walk towards the water, and sat on the shore. He smiled at all the people having fun, including his brother. He had never really seen his brother so...happy before.
