"You really think so?" she asked, although she really didn't need an answer from him. She somehow knew that he was telling what he was truly thinking. She liked that about him, among other things.
"I guess that you'd have to have that sort of passion to go through such lengths to be with loved ones," she wondered if she had that sort of passion. If it came down to it, would she have enough drive to push through the toughest obstacles to be with that special person? She hoped so.
"Well," she smiled down at her hands for a second, spotting a touch of ink on her fingers, "My family thinks I am," she said to his comment about her being a gifted artist, "I don't think it's an accident that you teach literal arts either. You seem like the kind of person who just loves whatever you do."

Riley watched the interaction between Neah and Szayel, and when he apologized as well, and shook Neah's hand, Riley couldn't help but giggle. She patted Szayel's cheek, "That's a good boy, see she wasn't going to rip your hand off." She said and giggled, she couldn't resist the urge to tease Szayel.
"Ooh, I love listening to the lute and the flute, they both sound so.. ethereal." She said, "I wanted to learn to play the flute, but I chose the trumpet instead.. let's just say that My mom wished that I chose the flute," she said and giggled. "You won't hear alot of that music here though, unless you go on youtube.. I'd love to hear some of your favorite though." she said, smiling at him.

Raphael noticed Gianna's eyes looking down at her fingers, and he saw the ink on them as well, this caused a soft smile. "I'm sure your family is right about your talent, you seem like the type of person who really puts her soul into the things that she creates, and so it would be impossible for it to not be beautiful." He said. He looked back up at her, keeping the softer smile.
"I do love teaching, being able to hopefully inspire our future generations and to help guide their path. Though i also whole heartedly believe in cherishing whatever job you do, just as you cherish the ones that you come in contact with."
He placed his hand on the table, and his fingers brushed against hers. Instead of moving it though, he left it there.. the heat of her fingers spreading throughout his whole body. He studied their hands for a moment, speechless.

Gianna couldn't help but smile. She remembered the hours of work she put into a lot of her pieces. She liked most of her stuff, some of it she hated...but she secretly loved the ones she hated too. How could she dislike something that she made?
When his hand brushed against her hand, she too felt the same sensation that he did. No words formed on her tongue either. She didn't think to move her hand. She wasn't sure if she wanted to. Something felt...right about this. She studied their hands together as well, questioning what she was feeling right now. Should she say anything? What should she say?

Szayel looked at Riley after she teased him. He showed absolutely no emotion, so it was hard to tell if the joke bothered him or not. Instead of responding, he simply reached out and poked Riley's forehead.
Grapha smiled at Riley again. He didn't really know how a trumpet sounded, but he'd heard of it before. Also, he had no idea what Youtube was at the moment, so he was guessing that Riley meant it was a trip of some sort. What else could you "go on", right? Trying to stay with it, Grapha tried to respond as best he could, feeling a little awkward.
"Well, maybe we could go on Youtube and hear some. Where does it go, anyway?"

Dakota looked over up at Bree and smirked. "Well, how about a cup of the best blood you have here.." He smirked then looked at Anti when he asked him if he wanted to sit with him, the girl he had brought with him to the resterant and the other couple that was there. He would then be closer to Neah, and be able to have a better view of Szayel so he nodded his head.
"Sure, why not...hope that is ok Bree." He smirked, standing up and walked over to their table and then sat by Anti.
"Well, didn't you guys bring some pretty girls on dates." He smirked at both Raphael and Anti.
Brianna looked at Gianna and shrugged, as if to say that she didn't know that the guy she wanted over at the table was going to act like that.

Riley giggled and rubbed her forehead where Szayel poked her. "You're such a meanie," she said playfully.
She then looked at Grapha and tilted her head. She could tell that perhaps Grapha didn't really get the whole concept of youtube for some reason, but she wasn't totally sure why. She also heard Neah's quiet giggle.
"Hm.. well.. AHA," Riley said, she held up her index finger to signal for Grapha to wait a moment, and reached in her messenger bag. She pulled out her purple netbook and after turning it on and connecting to the wifi, she logged onto Youtube, positioning to where she and Grapha could both see it.
"Okay, so here's youtube. All we have to do is type in lute or flute music, and we should get some responses...." she said, her voice trailing off as she typed. She waited for some videos to pop up, "See, now.. let's find one that looks good and click on it... oh, how about...this one.." she said and clicked on one of the videos. She made sure that her volume was loud enough for him to hear.

Raphael pulled his hand away and rubbed his arm with it in a shy manner when Dakota joined the group. He was still a little speachless. He felt like something passed between he and Gianna, but he couldn't put it into words. And there was even a small part of him that worried that she was able to tell that there was something inhuman about him from their encounter.
He covered his akwardness as best he could by taking a sip of his drink. "Ah, nice to see you outside of school again Dakota.." He said, smiling in a friendly manner once he was able to form words again.

Anti chuckled at Dakota's remark about their dates, he held up his hand for a high five from Dakota.
"I know man, but don't get any ideas about stealing either of them away.. you have no problem with getting your own ladies. Anyway, I doubt you could take her away from Raphael.. I'm afraid they're quite smitten with each other," he said, attempting to use Raphael sounding words for effect.
He then looked over at Brianna and grinned, "I guess I'll do the introductions.. this is Dakota.. Dakota, this is Brianna..and that's Gianna. They just moved to Shadow Peak." he said.

Pulling her hand away as well, Gianna fought back yet another blush. What just happened? It was like...she didn't know...an electric shock? It was a strange sensation. She brushed imaginary crumbs off her shirt as she tried to find her voice.
She was still trying to find hers by the time Raphael found his voice. Good, she had more time to be sure that her voice wouldn't be a squeak. She caught the look Brianna gave her. She gave her cousin a look that said that she didn't need to worry about it.
Of course, Gianna wasn't sure what to think about this Dakota guy. She smiled a little and said a simple, "Hey," when Anti introduced the cousins to him. Following this was a really deep blush when Anti commented that she and Raphael were "smitten" with each other. Was she? She started thinking about it, the blush slowly fading. Nothing in her mind screamed against the idea. She did, however, cross her ankles to keep herself from kicking Anti for talking so much.

Grapha stared at Riley as she worked her modern-day magic. He had no idea what was going on. Maybe he had said something uneducated? He really began to suspect so when Riley pulled up Youtube on the small screen. It was the quickness of the whole process that took Grapha by suprise. He looked up at Neah while Riley was busy and looked at her with an expression that asked, "How out of date am I?"
When Riley made the song start playing, Grapha figured that this was some kind of portable music box. He listened to the song, rather unsettled by his future-shock. It was almost like real lute musice, yes. However, through the netbook, it sounded very different in quality because of the devices speakers. It was a good song, but the modern touch that everything gave it was unfamiliar with Grapha. It's not that he didn't like it, it was just new, like a new flavor that you haven't ever tried before. You might not like it right away since you still need time to get used to it. For the time being, Grapha prefered the actual Lute.
"That's kind of what I'm talking about. It's a nice song, but you'd need to listen to exactly what I hear to understand it. It has this kind of... magic." Grapha searched for teh right word when he said "magic". "Not to insult your music. It was very nice. I'm just... not used to it." He said, wanting to make sure him and Riley were still on good terms.

Riley looked from Neah to Grapha, and then it finally came to her. She didn't really know much about hunters, but she knew enough to know that not all Hunters lived where technology was used on a regular basis.. or some not at all.. and so perhaps Grapha was from one of thsoe places. She felt kind of silly when she thought of this. She turned off the netbook and put it away, but then she smiled at Grapha.
"Right.. the real thing always sounds better than a recording. Unfortunately, there's not many chances to hear someone actually play the lute I don't think." She said.

"School? Oh yeah, I still go to school...I have actually seen you in the hallways a few times..I was just to shy to say hi...you know..with the rest of the crowd you hang out with..and him" Scott point at Taylor.
"I guess I had known you two were a thing, but I just hadn't seen him around you in awhile..so.." He stated, not noticing he was rambling.

A rush of happiness filled her insides when she discovered that he went to her school. But that feeling was followed by dismay, "You've been here that long and I haven't seen you?" she felt slightly bad, "Oh no! I'm usually so good at finding the new people...you must be very good at hiding," she giggled, "What classes are you in?" had she not noticed him in her classes either?
And he thought that she and Taylor were an item. Well, she did like Taylor, but they were't an item. Thus far, it had only been flirting between the two of them, but nothing serious. She wasn't sure how to tell Scott that without hurting Taylor. Before she could think of anything to say, she finally noticed that Scott was rambling on about her and Taylor being an item. She somehow knew that he was just nervous.
She wasn't sure what he'd do after she did this, but she put her index finger over his lips to silence him, "Shh," she giggled again to show that this was a friendly gesture, "It's okay," she pulled her hand away, "So when do you want to meet up?" she wasn't giving him the option of saying "no" to going around the town with her.

Brianna looked between Dakota and Anti on how well they were getting along...as for what had just happened between Raphael and Gi...that was a different story. She was about to talk out and show her disapproval, when Anti made a smart comment and she noticed how emarrassed Gi had gotten. She had to admit, she was cruel towards her cousin at times..but not THAT cruel, so she just left her comment to herself. However when Anti did introduce her to Dakota, she smiled and waved towards him.
"It's nice to meet you. Good throw earlier by the way! Do you work out a lot?" She asked completely curious on how a small guy like him was able to throw the guy that was taller then him, and built more bulky then him, out the window as if he was a piece of paper.
