The Food Court

[Alavda Noir]

Alavda smiled as she reminded Jak of her name, "Alavda. Alavda Noir, if you want my full name," she giggled, "I can't believe that I didn't tell you at the Nocturne..." she started playfully. She was starting to feel really comfortable with this group of people.

She looked in the direction that Alona was looking and knew that she was thinking that Nate and Belle looked adorable together.

Alona giggled slightly through her drink and looked over at the couple again. She had just met these people and they already felt like family to her. 'So, we've got twin hunters, an evil blonde witch with a capital 'B', what else has this crazy town got?' she thought, looking out over the crowd of people. "This has been one crazy day, hasn't it? We're just short of clowns killing this whole mall of people." she said, thinking out loud without realizing it.

[Annabelle Ventus]

Annabelle looked away, blushing like mad. "Wonder what that could be?" She said in a teasing tone then looks back up at him. "I only had one wish..and that would be that Heather won't be right...and I won't lose you to her.." she said and shook a bit. "Um..what I'm trying to say is...uh.." she said slightly in a panic.

She looked down at the pennies and pushed them away. "I guess..I don't need them either...as long as you promise...promise that she'll never take you away...from me.." she stuttered out and looked down. She did it again, she was sounding stupid, at least in her mind, but she was also once again nervous on what he was thinking; which was greatly shown by how much she was shaking now and how red her face was getting.

[Nate Brightmore]

Nate could tell that Annabelle was shaking and so he put his arm around her. He hugged her tight and smiled, "There's no way that I'm going to Heather or anyone else. You shouldn't listen to her, she's full of hot air."

He glanced down at the pennies and then put them back in his pocket. He rubbed Annabelle's back and pulled back slightly to look down at her. "Are you feeling any better now?" He asked.

[Jessa Johanson]

When Jak asked Jessa what she meant by odd, she opened her mouth to say something and then closed it, a paniced look flashed across her face for a moment then disappeared. When Alavda said that she meant goofy, Jessa let out a quiet sigh of relief.

"Yes, goofy. Thats what I meant.. its... nice." She said and smiled nervously.

[Annabelle Ventus]

Annabelle smiled back up at him and nodded at him. "I guess I am." She said then laughed. "I think this is the first time that you hugged me before I hugged you." She says still snickering but hugs him back. "Thanks, I really needed this, but you know what would make me happier?" She asks smiling widely, waiting for him to ask what.

[Nate Brightmore]

"Well it was bound to happen sometime," Nate said, responding to the fact that he hugged her first. He shrugged, pretending to be uncaring about it but his smile showed that he actually did care about everything that she had to say.

He raised his eyebrow, and his grin spread, "What would make it better?" he asked.

[Annabelle Ventus]

Annabelle giggles at his reaction then let go of him and twirled behind him and gets on her tiptoes to talk in his ear. "I would love to dance with you again, I think that is the most fun I had in years." she said then giggled and went back to being flat foot. "But seeing as this is a mall and daylight, I don't think that would be a good idea." She snickers. "Plus, I want to be able to dance better before I dance with you again. I have to upstage you somehow" She said and winked at him, obviously in a playful way.

[Nate Brightmore]

Nate's ears grew hot, and he smiled. "We will dance again, don't worry. But I wouldn't hold your hopes up of being better than me, I am great you know." He said, and winked at her to let her know that he was joking.

He looked back at the table where some of their friends were watching them, he ran his hand through his hair again the way that he often did when he was nervous. "Should we go back to the table?" He asked.

[Annabelle Ventus]

Annabelle looks up at him and smiles. "Only if you want to.." She said then saw he was moving his hair and noticed his ears. "Hey, are you ok? Your ears are red....your not getting sick are you?" She said getting back up on her tiptoes and moving his hair to look at his ears. "Oh there hot! Please tell me your not coming down with something..." she said now worried.

[Nate Brightmore]

Nate pulled Annabelle's hands away, the blush now creeping down his neck. He cleared his throat.

"No, I'm not coming down sick. Everything is okay, they.. just turn red from time to time." He said, then cleared his throat again. "come on, lets go back." He said quickly and escorted her back to the table before she could say anything else about his ears.

[Annabelle Ventus]

Annabelle looked up at him one last time to make sure he was ok then looked back at the group. "So we're back!" she says and pats Bree's back and sits back down. "Did we miss anything?"

[Bree Aldertree]

Bree was watching Annabelle and Nate very closely, a smile spreading across her face. She looked away to take a sip of her drink then started humming "Annabelle and Nate sitting in a tree" but when it came to the "K.I.S.S.I.N.G" part, she sang it out loud. She was moving her head from side to side as if she were in her own little world while she was doing this.

When Annabelle patted her back, she jumped and knocked her drink toward Nick, and nearly spilled it on him if Neah hadn't caught it at the perfect moment.

"Oopsy!" Bree said, then smiled at Annabelle, "Nope, nothing.. alls quiet on the home front."

[Nick Hampton]

Nick sighed in relief when he saw the drink not spill on him. "Thanks Neah.." He says and smiles at her, then looks over at Annabelle and laughs when she sees her face turn red from what Bree said. "It's ok..she was only joking around..right Bree?" he said elbowing her side slightly and then looked up at Nate to see how he reacted to all of it.

[Bree Aldertree]

"Hmm?" Bree asked, she turned her head really quick to lookat Nick then up at Annabelle and Nate. Nate had just finished running his hand through his hair again. Bree turned her attention back to Nick.

"Oh, yeah.. mhm, sure." she said and smiled one of those knowing smiles.
