The Food Court

[Neah Brightmore]

Neah passed out everyone else's drinks, but frowned at Bree for a moment, letting her eyes move back and forth between her orange smoothie and Bree. She took a few sips of it then quickly tossed it away.

"Its okay Bree, the orange is gone." Neah said soothingly.

She then turned to Annabelle and smiled, "Oh yeah, the smoothie lady must have though I was going to drink them all by myself. She gave me a funny look. I also saw that guy blowing Heather off, it was funny. Hm, death by laughter? Sounds like something that could happen with this group. Atleast he would have died with a smile on his face." She said and smiled.

[Bree Aldertree]

Bree slowly uncovered her eyes, and when she saw that the orange smoothie was indeed gone, she relaxed and the smile came back on her face.

"Yay!" She said happily, "Thanks Banana!" She said. Then her face got serious for a moment, "Orange is a horrible color. I've never liked it, it causes me nightmares." She answered and shivered.

[Annabelle Ventus]

"I don't personally like the color, it looks good on some people though." Annabelle says and shrugs. She then smiles/laughs at what Neah said. "She thought you would drink it all? I have to say that wouldn't be healthy...actually I think I know for sure that it will make you sick." She says then looks over at Nate. "I told you they would distract me.." she whispers to him and laughs silently.

[Nate Brightmore]

Nate chuckled at Neah and put his slushie inbetween him and his sister so that she could have some of his if she wished. He ran his fingers through his hair and smiled at Annabelle, "You were right. They're good for distraction." Nate answered.

Bree smiled at him and winked, "You have no idea, big boy." She said and then bursted out laughing.

This caused Nate's ears to turn a bright red, even though Bree wasn't flirting with him, and he wasn't interested in her that way.

[Annabelle Ventus]

Annabelle watched the exchange between Bree and Nate and thought she would add some fuel to the fire, but for her intent. "Ya, but why would he think of anything else other then what is infront of him. Especially if it's so wonderful? Isn't that right..love?" She said the last part just to mess with Heather if she ever came back around.

Annabelle hated seeming too full of herself, but she was only joking so it didn't effect her much.

[Nate Brightmore]

Nate's head turned toward Annabelle so fast it would have caused anyone else whiplash. His eyes slightly wide in surprise at hearing Annabelle be so.. forward. It took him a moment to realize what she was doing and he chuckled, even though now his ears were burning from blushing so much.

"Right," he said and quickly made himself busy with taking a drink of his smoothie.

[Alavda Noir]

Alavda watched the exchange between Bree, Nate, and Annabelle with amused interest. She leaned over to speak to Neah, "I don't know about you, but I find that conversation very cute."

Then when Annabelle called Nate "love" jokingly along with Nate's reaction (although she couldn't see his ears beneath his hair, she could tell that he was getting a little flustered), she lightly covered her mouth with her fingers, trying not to giggle, but failed.

[Annabelle Ventus]

Annabelle covered her mouth so that she didn't laugh too loudly. His reaction was wonderful, but she felt bad for doing that to him. "Can you forgive me for being so mean? Didn't mean to make you nearly break your own neck.." she says looking down at the table slightly then takes another bite of her pizza but then quickly looks back up at him.

[Nick Hampton]

"Yes, quite.." He says and looks at what was going on now. "Wonder what just happened over there...looks like that guy is in total shock." He says then takes another bite of his eggroll.

[Jessa Johanson]

Jessa looked up from her General Tso Chicken to study the group, namely the guy in question. She then looked at the blond that he was talking to the most, other than his sister. She watched their body language and she couldn't help but giggle.

"The blond and he have a crush on each other, apparently she said something jokingly that surprised him but he's trying not to show it." She said. She bit her lip and looked from the group to Nick. She knew that he apparently wasn't comfortable around new people, but he seemed really interested in the group, and she knew that both of them could use more friends.

"We.. could go over there if you want. I'm not saying that we have to, but I think it would be good for us to meet more people. They all seem really nice enough, don't you think?" She asked both Aralynn and Nick.

Of course, it wasn't always easy for Jessa to go up to complete strangers either, or even people who were nearly strangers. She was always worried about what she was going to say or if she'd be interupting something. But sometimes a girl had to do what a girl had to do.

[Neah Brightmore]

Neah looked from Nate to Annabelle and she grinned. She leaned in toward Alavda, "I agree, the whole thing is adorable. I haven't seen my brother like this ever. I only wish I had a video camera. Of course they aren't allowed at the church anyway." She said.

She felt people looking at the group and looked over to where Nick, Jessa, and Aralynn were sitting. She smiled sweetly at them and waved shyly, then turned her head back to Alavda. "It looks like others would agree with us. Do you know any of them? I think the two girls go to my school, but I don't know the guy."

[Nate Brightmore]

Nate completely ignored the conversation between Neah and Alavda. His attention was completely on Annabelle, and trying to pretend that he wasn't only paying attention to her by picking at his own pizza. A grin spread across his lips as he watched Annabelle.

"Its okay, it was pretty funny. Just warn me the next time you decide to act like Heather." He said and smiled completely.

[Alavda Noir]

"Too bad for no camera," Alavda laughed then looked at the people that Neah was referring to, "I think I saw the two girls last night, but I can't be sure. As for the guy...I've never seen him before," she decided to follow suit, and gave a friendly smile to the other table, "Do you think we should invite them over here?"

[Annabelle Ventus]

Annabelle listened to what Ala and Neah were saying and just smiled at them. She looked over at Nate and smiled more. "Thank you for forgiving me, and I'll try to remind myself to do that." She said with a giggle and took a sip of the smoothie that Neah got her.

[Nick Hampton]

Nick's timidness was slightly coming back. He slightly backed away, but realized that if he did this we wouldn't be able to figure this group out. Though why he was so curious about this group, he had no idea. "I think that would be a good idea.." He says looking over at Jessa.

"I am kind of shocked though that you want to meet new people...but I can see your not really comfortable with your idea..." He says, but smiles at her to say to her that he would help her if she needed him to.
