The Food Court

[Szayel]

Just then, Szayel felt it safe to walk out of the smoothie shop. Smoothie in hand, he walked out and took his first sip. It was indeed, worth the wait. He almost zoned out directly afterwards, but he noticed the rather large group of people in the court. He recognized alot of faces, even the two who were in the fight, last night. He also saw his new friend, Jessa. He decided he would go and say hello. He walked up to her and did just that. "Hey there. We meet again."

[Jessa Johanson]

Jessa smiled at Nick, "Sometimes I'm okay with meeting new people, and sometimes I'd much rather stay in my own little world. But anyway, it looks like we've been caught looking." She replied and waved back at Neah and Alavda.

She bit her lip nervously, and gave herself a mental peptalk. She looked over at Aralynn, then pushed her hair behind her ear.

"Okay, if they make a move to invite us to join them, then we go. That way we aren't imposing. Does that sound okay?" She asked.

She was so intuned with Nick and the larger group that she hadn't really noticed Szayel walking up to them until he spoke. This caused her to jump. She put her hand over her chest and giggled, embarrassed by her own reaction.

"Hi Szayel. How are you?" She asked.

[Nick Hampton]

"I agree" Nick said and then looked up at the guy who said hello to Jessa. "I remember you, you were in the book store with these two earlier.." He says studying the slightly new guy. "So what brings you back here?"

[Bree Aldertree]

Bree heard Alavda and Neah talking and looked over where Aralynn, Jessa, and Nick were sitting. A smile grew on her face when she saw Szayel walking up to that table. "The more the merrier, right?" She asked.

She jumped up from her seat and skipped over to where the smaller group was located. She stood up on her tip toes to put her elbow on Szayel's shoulder and grinned at him.

"Hey Spikes! Why don't you and your friends come join us?" She said, doing her best not to look at his hair because she was still hearing Jak's comment about it being orange.

She then turned to Nick, Jessa, and Aralynn and smiled her sweetest smile, "Hiya! I'm Bree," She said and waved while cocking her head to the side.

[Szayel]

Szayel chuckled a little at how Jessa reacted. "Oh, sorry, I didn't mean to startle you. I'm ok, how are you?" Szayel noticed the boy talking to him. "Oh yeah, you were that quiet guy. I just came for a drink and saw you all. What's up?" That was when the girl from last night did something very familiar. Szayel looked to the sky and whispered, "Dear god, no..." He looked over to where Jessa and her friends were in front of him, then back to Bree. "Sure... i guess..."

[Nick Hampton]

Nick looked at the girls hair and his eyes widened. "I-is that your natural hair color?" He said, so shocked and so curious he could help but slightly have excitement in his voice, and he decided that he would wave back at her to be polite.

[Bree Aldertree]

Bree pulled down some of her hair so that she could get a good look at it, "Oh! No, its not naturally this color, but its usually this color so it may as well be! I can also make it pink, green, yellow, red, any color and I sometimes do. Just with a snap of my fingers. Why? Is that your natural hair color? Its.. AWESOME!" She said and smiled brightly.

She reached out and grabbed Nick's hand, " Come on, you can come meet my friends. They're really nice and they won't bite.. well I don't think they'll bite unless you ask them to.. but I wouldn't go poking Nate unless you want to lose a finger." She said and winked at him to show that she was joking.

She pulled him slightly gently toward the table, without looking to see if the others were following.

[Jessa Johanson]

Jessa watched Bree and her eyebrows went up, this girl was definately hyper but she seemed really nice. She glanced over at the large group and swallowed then stood up. She linked her arm with Aralynn, but looked back at Szayel.

"It seems you make friends very quickly." She said and grinned at Szayel as they walked over to the other table.

[Nick Hampton]

Nick's face went from calm to panic in 20 seconds. He looked over at his new friends to see if they would help him, but it was too late he was already over at the new group. He froze and just smiled shyly at all of them and let out a quiet "hi".

[Szayel]

Szayel sighed. "Yes, it does..." He looked over at bree half-dragging Nick to the full table. His expression was similar to that of a deer caught in headlights. "Should we, uh... help him?"

[Alavda Noir]

Alavda watched Bree make her way over to the other group, "I wish that I would be as outgoing as she is...actually, on second thought, I wish that I could be MORE outgoing like her. I don't think that I could face life with such energy all the time," she laughed.

Then she noticed that the other group was coming to their table. When they got there, she noticed that the guy with the purplish hair looked rather nervous. For the second time that day, she tucked her shyness away in a drawer and greeted them first, "Hello there. I'm Alavda," a friendly smile followed this statement.

[Jessa Johanson]

Jessa smiled at Szayel, but frowned just a small bit in worry as she looked at Nick. She put her hand lightly on his arm, near his elbow and smiled at him reassuringly. Then she turned to look at Alavda and smiled in return.

"Hello, I'm Jessa, this is Aralynn, and this is Nick." She said, pointing at each of the friends as she said their names, "Oh and this is Szayel. You don't mind us joining you, do you?" She asked, trying to sound more sure of herself than she felt.

[Neah Brightmore]

Neah smiled warmly at the newcomers, she had already pushed her chair closer to Nate's and helped push another table with theirs along with chairs that way the whole group would be able to sit together. She walked back toward her own seat, but didn't sit down yet.

"Oh no, its perfectly okay. We'd be happy to have you join us. I'm Neah and this is Nate." She said. "I'm sorry about Bree, she gets extremely excited about meeting new people apparently and she doesn't understand that not everyone is as outgoing as she is." She said, explaining that to Nick.

[Bree Aldertree]

Bree let go of Nick's hand and smiled happily at him but then she shrugged as if to say that she didn't mean any harm, or that she didn't see what all the fuss was about. She bounced back into her chair beside Jak, sitting cross-legged in the chair.

[Annabelle Ventus]

Annabelle could feel the absolute terror off of the boy so she slightly smile at him and waves her hand at towards Nick. "If you all want to sit here it's ok, we all love meeting new people...or at least I do.." she says with a giggle. "Oh, by the way, my name is Annabelle." She said putting her hand on her chest and smiling a little wider then she did before.
